Chapter 160: What About Being a Veritable Villain?

"Lex Luthor..." Bruce Wayne muttered to himself, just as he was about to ask more, but he noticed Su Sheng had already turned away, walking towards Lois Lane, signaling the end of their conversation.

Frowning, Bruce hesitated for a moment before deciding not to pursue Su Sheng further. His priorities lay elsewhere—specifically, with the Kryptonians and Superman.

In Bruce Wayne's mind, Su Sheng posed less of a threat compared to Superman. Su Sheng seemed to act out of amusement, while Superman, if provoked, could wreak havoc on a massive scale. After all, Superman wasn't human.

With a thunderous bang, Su Sheng shot into the sky, carrying Lois Lane. The sudden gust of wind stirred up dust, and Bruce waved it away with an annoyed cough.

Back in the apartment, chaos reigned.

Su Sheng set Lois down and spoke casually. "I have to go for now, but I'll be back in a few days."

"You're not planning anything... are you?" Lois asked, worry lacing her voice.

Su Sheng smiled and shrugged. "Remember, you're mine now."

Before she could respond, Su Sheng kissed her on the cheek, then flew out of the window.

Central City, Villa

Su Sheng first stopped by the Discipleship to check on the Kryptonian corpses that had been stored there. He also tested the nano-shrinking technology again; the upgrades were a success. When the number of disciples shrank, their interiors and even the people inside shrank accordingly.

Returning to the villa from the Discipleship, Su Sheng found the lively living room falling into an instant silence.

Laura, Thea, Black Siren, Ballistic, Bomb Girl Betty, and Lisa all quieted down, their eyes on Su Sheng.

"Betty," Su Sheng called out.

Betty nodded, taking a deep breath. "I'm ready."

Without further words, a blue current of electricity surged from Su Sheng and struck Betty, causing her to scream in pain.

The sudden action sent a shockwave of fear through the group.

As the electricity coursed through her, a mass of energy flowed from Betty's body into Su Sheng's.

After half an hour, Betty collapsed to her knees, gasping for air. Tentatively, she reached out to touch a nearby object, but it remained intact—nothing exploded.

"My powers are gone... this is incredible!" Betty exclaimed, overwhelmed with relief.

"I didn't completely drain your energy. You should regain your abilities after a while. Enjoy the break while you can," Su Sheng said with a chuckle, turning to head upstairs. As he walked, he ordered Gideon to locate Superman's Fortress of Solitude.

As Lois had said, it wasn't over yet. If Su Sheng didn't create a few Doomsdays to play with, he'd feel like he was letting General Swanwick down.

The sound of running water echoed in the bathroom.

After a shower, Su Sheng stepped out, only to find Black Siren waiting for him at the door.

"Boss," she greeted him with a seductive tone, her eyes lingering on his muscular chest.

"Something you need?" Su Sheng asked as he walked past her.

"You seem to have forgotten something," Black Siren hinted coyly.

"Enjoying yourself with your little explorations?" Su Sheng teased, touching the nose ring on her face. "Come with me."

They entered the bedroom, and Black Siren closed the door behind them.

Su Sheng watched as Black Siren unzipped her long coat, revealing a black tube top vest underneath.

"Looks like this is becoming a habit," Su Sheng said with a chuckle.

As Black Siren removed her leather pants, she smirked. "Perhaps. What else do you have in mind?"

"Laurel Lance would never do something like this," Su Sheng mused with a grin, counting the piercings—four in total. This trend, popular in Europe and the United States, seemed even more fitting in a world like Earth-2, where villains held power.

"I'm not her, but I am her! I can do everything she can, and what she can't... I can do that too!" Black Siren leaned in closer, her voice full of temptation.

Indeed, despite her identical appearance to Black Canary, the difference in personality and demeanor between Black Siren and her doppelgänger was striking. This contrast only heightened Su Sheng's interest, especially since Black Siren, despite her bold exterior, was more of a novice when it came to experience.

As a reward for the pleasure she provided, Su Sheng upgraded her piercing from silver to gold.

Betty left the villa after losing her powers, eager to experience life as an ordinary person. Lisa accompanied her. Laura and Thea stayed behind, while Ballistic left to handle some remaining tasks after upgrading the Discipleship.

Night fell.

Black Siren eventually claimed a spot in Su Sheng's bed, occupying the pillows that had belonged to Laura or Thea.

Metropolis

The military and government took control of Zod's wrecked spaceship, eager to study the alien technology. Naturally, Lex Luthor, with his familiarity with Kryptonian tech, was heavily involved in the research and analysis.

Meanwhile, Superman flew tirelessly around the city, repairing the damage caused by the Kryptonian invasion.

But many people were wary of him, some even cursing at him.

Superman continued his work silently.

In the Batcave, Bruce Wayne spent the night trying to hack into the databases of LexCorp and the military, searching for information on Superman and the Kryptonians.

He didn't sleep a wink.

At dawn, golden light streamed through the windows.

Su Sheng woke up, grabbed his phone, and turned it on. The device immediately buzzed with notifications—missed calls from Caitlin, Sisko, the Birds of Prey, and even Carol Ferris.

After checking the messages, he set the phone aside and turned to Black Siren, who was still draped over him. "Morning."

"Morning, boss," Black Siren replied with a playful smile.

"Time to get up," Su Sheng chuckled, giving her a light pat before rolling out of bed to find his clothes. As he dressed, he activated his bracelet, summoning Gideon.

"Have you located the Fortress of Solitude?"

"Yes, Mr. Su Sheng," Gideon confirmed, displaying the map.

Su Sheng's eyes gleamed with excitement.

"The fun is about to begin."

"Boss, what are you planning?" Black Siren asked lazily, wrapping her arms around him from behind.

"What do you think about becoming a true villain, the kind people tell stories about—the Great Demon King?"
