"Only Our Loved Ones Can Hurt Us Not Our Enemies."
Whoever said that women are crazy about shopping hasn't seen Mahzun yet. If you guys could see him right now, you'd say that 'He is crazy about shopping' is an understatement. Right now, Layla and Yara are just following him around the mall and laughing their heads off at his condition. He is buying everything in sight.</span>
It was the total opposite in their family, Mahzun loved shopping, whereas, Layla and Yara loathed it. But they enjoyed times like these when they would just follow him around everywhere and watch him buy clothes for them and himself as well.
There were times when they would beg him to stop and just go, and this is one of those times. The problem isn't him buying things, it's that they decided to eat breakfast out today and they haven't eaten anything yet. They're dying of hunger.
They've been out for about an hour or two, and he wasn't planning on stopping anytime soon. He would enter shop after shop and right now they were in a library. They only thing that they all agreed on buying were books. Yara didn't wanna say anything to him because it's been so long since they last spent time like this together. Actually, that wasn't the real problem. She loves him too much to say anything against his will. So, Layla let her ponder about the situation and went ahead and poked Mahzun on his back. What she didn't see was that he was busy looking at a book which was related to travelling. And when he sees something related to travelling, he forgets everything.
She poked him again on his arm: no response. She waited for a while but it went to waste. She was on the verge of exploding with anger when she realised that she was in a library. So instead, she pinched his arm with full force and he jumped and screamed, gaining stares from the people in the library. And Layla stood there with her shoulders slightly shaking, trying to control her laugh due to her surroundings. At least that made her anger go away.
"What were you thinking? Are you out of your mind?" He whisper yelled.
"First of all, is this how you talk to your elder sister. Doesn't matter if I'm just a year older than you." She whisper yelled back "And secondly, I would've screamed in your ear but I'm not like you who'd scream in a quiet library."
"Let's go, I know I won't be able to check this library out if you are by my side." He stated. He grabbed his phone from the table and shoved it in his pocket then opened his right arm, gesturing his elder sister for a side hug. "Where's Yara? Haven't seen her since we entered the library."
"She must be in one of these aisles, lost in the books," Layla replied.
They were looking for Yara as they walked side by side. They were near the exit when they found her. Her face hid behind the book in her hands. She was shaking. they couldn't understand why but maybe because she was reading 'Bridget Jones Diary' and they thought that she was laughing. As they moved closer to her, they got a clear view of her face and realised that she was crying.
Mahzun rushed towards her "Hey, hey, hey. What happened to you?" worry evident in his tone. He was always like this. He couldn't see his sisters cry and especially not his twin. "What happened to you? Why are you crying?" He crouched down beside her. "You're freaking me out, please tell me what happened to you." He said as he heard silence as an answer for his previous questions.
She started crying more hard as she heard Mahzun asking her what happened. Mahzun couldn't take it anymore so he engulfed her in a hug and rubbed her back. He started asking the same questions in a low voice just for her to hear. "Are you better now? Do you wanna talk about it?"
She nodded. "Sh-she's gon-go-gonna die single," she stated in-between her hiccups and stretched the last word more.
"Who's gonna die single?" Mahzun asked, pulling away from her. She pointed towards the book in her lap "Bridget." she said.
As soon as he heard her, the expression on his face went from worry to anger. "What the heck! Yara, do you even know what you're saying? You scared me to death." He was about to say something more when Layla tucked on his sleeve and asked him to calm down "Let me handle her. It's her first day, what can you expect?" She said and she sat down beside Yara.
"Here, take this." she gave her the chocolate that she had been keeping for herself and turned her head towards Mahzun "Don't worry. She'll be better after she eats breakfast. Let's go. And no more shopping before we have breakfast." she pointed her finger at Mahzun, warning him.

They were sitting in their favourite restaurant: Nar Lokantası (Nar Restaraunt). Everything about that place was perfect. It's view, food, service, everything. This was their escape from their troubles. They'd come here, alone or together, whenever they felt down or disturbed.
They sat on the table in the corner, next to the big glass window. Layla just sat there, looking at Yara and Mahzun using their phones, thinking about whether she should tell them about him or not. They already know him but not like she wanted them to. But what does she know.
"Mahzun, Yara. I need to tell you guys something." She said she wasn't sure that if it was a good place or a good time but she thought that it was now or never. And besides, she already invited him. "I want you guys to meet someone. You already know him bu-you'll know."
As soon as she said those words, Yara and Mahzun looked at each other and then burst out in laughter. She was already nervous and their laughing at her was totally not helping her. They had a really hard time controlling their laughter and when they finally did, Mahzun spoke up. "You really think you're good at hiding things?" Mahzun and Yara guessed this a long time ago and they were waiting for her to say it out loud. "We were literally waiting for you to say it but we knew about it."
"What do you guys know?" Layla said, confusion clear in her voice.
"That you're with Burak, what else?" Yara stated with a smirk on her face "Oh and just so you know, we invited him to have breakfast with us today." And then it hit Layla why he was laughing when she asked him to come.
"You guys already invited him? Now I know why he acted the way he did." She was both surprised and annoyed. She thought that she would tell them and see the surprise on their faces but unfortunately, they surprised her.
"Ah, here he comes," Mahzun said with excitement evident in his tone. He got up from his chair and waited for him to arrive to the table. He was about to hug Burak when Yara got up from her chair and jumped straight into his arms.
"I missed you, Burak," she said, still not letting go of him "You're my favourite brother-in-law."
"You-you're ch-choking me-e, Yara."
"Oh, sorry. I really didn't mean to do that." Yara apologized, pulling away from him.
"By the way, I'm your only brother-in-law," He said and looked towards Layla. The look on her face was enough for him to say the next thing. "..to be."
"Get out of the way everyone, let me meet him too." Mahzun was really excited about his sister and Burak. Burak was family to them. They met him when they moved to Turkey. Oh did I forget to mention that they shifted to Turkey while their parents lived all the way back in Pakistan? Anyways, they started to befriend him and became really close. Actually, Yara introduced him to them. She met him once in a photography workshop, he was in the management, and had a really good first meeting.
The food arrived and they started eating it. They drank Turkish Çay (Tea) with Börek (a family of baked filled made of a thin flaky.), Cheese, Simit ( a circular, typically with or, less commonly, poppy, or sunflower seeds.), Pastırma (a highly seasoned, air-dried that is part of the cuisines of Turkey, Bulgaria, Greece, Azerbaijan and Armenia.) and Olives, eggs, tomatoes, cucumber, jam and honey. This is considered a typical Turkish breakfast.
Taking a break from her breakfast, Yara was looking at Layla and Burak "So, when are you two getting married?" Layla choked oh her simit. Burak got up from his seat and started patting her back.
"Are you okay?" Burak asked in a low voice which was meant for only Layla to hear but the twins heard it more clearly than she did.
"Yeah, she's fine. Just excited for her wedding." Yara cut Layla off before she could even say a word. "Isn't that right, Layla?"
"Yeah, she's is." This time it was Mahzun.
"Would you both stop replying in my place." She was getting sick of them answering instead of her "I can speak for own. Burak, it's not like thi-I mean, obviously when it's the right time I'll be excited but now's not the time."
"I didn't even ask you about this," Burak said, laughing. "They were saying that, I just asked if you're okay or not." he pointed towards Mahzun and Yara.
Layla lightly punched him on his arm and nodded.
"Do wanna come home with us, Burak?" Yara asked.
He always liked to spend time with them. He would never say no. "Yeah, sure. Why would he say no?" Mahzun was quick enough to answer in his place.
"What's up with you two today? Why aren't you letting us answer for ourselves?" She was really pissed off right now and this happened only when she was nervous or worried. She wasn't the type to get angry. She was a softie inside and out.
They were going home in a few minutes when Mahzun and Yara simultaneously received an email. They picked up their phones and they couldn't believe their eyes. They looked at each other and then back at their phones. And after a while, Yara gathered her voice and started to talk.
"Did you-are yo-" she still couldn't form complete sentences " Is that the same email as mine?" Burak and Layla were both looking at them as if they grew two heads. Mahzun looked at his phone at first then at Yara's and nodded.
"Are you serious? Oh my God, this such a huge thing. I can't believe it."
"Will you guys tell us what happened or should we just sit here and assume things?" Layla was a really curious person. She would die out of curiosity if someone told her incomplete things.
"Okay, okay. Together Yara. Alright?"
"We got accepted in Mono Production!"
