Vladimir:
I smiled when I saw Audrey looking around the room, her eyes taking in almost every detail that she saw as she wrapped her arm around herself. A manner that I believed she did whenever she was nervous or weary.
"You don't have to be nervous, Audrey. I am not going to hurt you." I said, and she blushed before letting her arm go, wanting to allow herself to relax.
"You have an office in your room?" She asked, and I nodded.
"It comes in handy when I don't want to see anyone and just want to finish work from here. I have one downstairs too, it's the one that Liana was in with me earlier." I said, and she nodded. Liana's words played in my head, and though I knew that I wanted this, I understood what she meant. They had broken her and her scars were deeply cut, whatever they had as a reason couldn't have just been for her being born a bastard. I doubted that anyone would have been that cruel.
