Chapter 32 Tick, Tock

For a split second, I didnt know what to say. It was Tobi. Tobi, my good friend, wasnt the man I thought he was. Luckily, I didnt have to say anything. Matthew filled that spot right for me.

Not at all. Miss me?

Tobi sneered. Knowing what Matthew was referring to and being a little disgusted by the reference at the same time, I understood the sneer much more easily.

But seeing as Tobi was the bad guy, I wasnt going to back him up.

I would be a lot nicer to you had you not done what you did. Tobi, who was high up above us, lowered his leg to kick Matthew in the head. I would still kill you, but I wouldnt make you suffer. Now? Youre going to wish youd never been born.

Clich words, I noted, but it wasnt like I was going to point that out to Tobi. If he delivered on his promise and was stronger than Matthew, Id regret it.
