Yvette's POV
As I woke up in a daze, the grandiose ceiling came into sight.
My vision was still blurry, so I couldn't tell whether I was in a dream or reality.
I slowly turned my head and saw an intravenous line.
So I didn't die.
I was no longer in a forest but in an empty bedroom.
After I ran into Black, my life was spent in a cycle of losing consciousness and regaining consciousness.
I sat up from bed, feeling weak all over.
When I lifted my head, I saw a tall figure at the foot of the bed.
Black stood barefoot with his hands behind his back, his straight legs wrapped in gray pants.
He was glaring at me with a furious look.
I was startled.
I should've hated Black's guts, but when I saw the look on his face, I was amused.
"Yvette! Are you fucking crazy?" he roared at me.
No idea what was going on, I could only look at him in silence.
