Safira didn't know what time it was when she woke up. The sun's rays were hitting her hard as she stretched her back. She looked to the bed, only to see Damien was still sound asleep. He hadn't woken up since the fight.
She gently ran her fingers through his hair, knowing he never liked it messy. How she wished he would just open his eyes to see her now. But Damien's condition was improving.
"Luna Safira, pardon the intrusion," one of the Alpha Squad wolves came knocking a few moments later, "There's someone here to see you."
"Who is it?" She asked as she rubbed her eyes.
It was Archer.
"What are you doing here?"
As soon as those words left her lips, she recalled how she had left him in charge of Nestor and Arla when she ran back to the battle arena. Archer was gasping for air as he entered. He got down to his knees in front of Safira.
"What are you doing, Archer? Get up, get up," she gasped in shock as she moved forward to pull him up to his feet.
