Ezra looks slightly annoyed at seeing Alec, but disguises it expertly. If not for the way he drives around Paris, like the very devil's on his tail. We have plenty of time, no need to rush like this. But he does, and I can only pin it to the fact he wanted to be alone with me. As he drives into the Notre Dame compound, the concierge checks with Mme Dubois before he lets us in. Ezra chats idly with the man, must know him from all the years working here, and when the all-clear finally arrives, he's given a permit to park in his old spot, which puts a smile on his lips.
