Inside his room Enki put on his gear thinking about the future, 'the movie shouldn't be canon but it is so that means we have to fight Antares, a monster that has absorbed the power of a god, what level would it be?'

He patted himself down and grabbed his glaive, ready to go. He went downstairs and entered V's room. The bird chirped with a smile and ran up to him.

"Morning to you too pal," he petted its beak and went to attach the saddle, "this is going to be a long week for us," he said scratching him under the chin Verde let out small chirps of joy before he stopped.

Arriving at the living area, he saw Bell and Lilly prepped and ready to go, "alright then let's dive."

[Dungeon of babel 15th floor]

-Swish! -Shunk!

An arrow flew by and stabbed into the flesh of a minotaur. The beast grunted, breaking the piece, and charged at Lilly!

"This isn't training!" She screamed, running back.

Bell and Enki were on the side, watching her fight the Minotaur on her own. "You can do it, Lilly!" Bell cheered for her.

Verde perched himself beside them, cleaning his feathers, lacing to Lilly's fight now and then.

"Yeah, just don't die or get hurt," Enki said, chuckling.

Lilly grunted, turning back with the bow in hand and firing another arrow, twirling back and shooting one more. They flew sinking into the Minotaurs, shoulders and chest.

The beast grunted and swung its arm. Lilly was too slow and raised her bow and it bashed against her. She went skidding back a few feet, coughing heavily.

Bell wanted to jump in but Enki stopped her, "she can do this." Enki said tightening the grip on his glaive.

Lilly huffed staring at the Minotaur, 'I agreed to this myself... come on I can do this,' she breathed in and pulled out three arrows holding one with her mouth, 'I want to be a better support and not a bystander.'

-Roar!

The Minotaur roared and charged. She squinted, observing its every move she had seen them charge enough to guess how they moved.

-Swish! -Shunk!

She shot the arrow, flew and stabbed into its knee, it groaned and as it was falling Lilly exhaling pulled back the string with the second arrow in place and shot it and removed the third one from her mouth and shot it in the same movement.

The two arrows soared through the air, forcing through the Minotaur's eye and neck. It gurgled blood spilling out and fell, turning to smoke.

"Hah, I did it! Screw you, Enki!" She felt the rush of adrenaline coursing through her.

"I mean, right now I'm flattered and all, but I see you more like a sister," he chuckled.

"Shut up, you know what I meant." She rolled her eyes, getting a feel for her bow.

"Lilly, your shot those arrows fast," Bell commented.

"Yeah, a bow might be the best fit for you. I can make some special arrows for you in the future when you get better," Enki smiled.

"Mn!" Lilly smiled back, "exploding ones, acid arrows, maybe a grappling hook and net arrow even is that a thing?" she asked, letting her imagination run wild.

Enki chuckled and patted her head. "We can think about future possibilities later. I think it's time for us to head back for the festival."

The group cheered and hopped on Verde's back, riding the way back up to the surface. As they got out, they found the sun to be set and lights were being set up for the festival.

Enki let them go home to change while he handled the transactions. It was also because he wanted to meet Rose again, which grew from a quick meeting to a make-out session in the back.

Later that night, the group, along with Hestia, stopped by a crowd. Hermes caught their attention the god himself walking up to the stage.

"Feast your eyes ladies and gentlemen, who amongst you are heroes in the making!? Please step forward. Those who believe to have the power must remove this item from its binding." Hermes moved to the side, revealing a spear trapped in a crystal.

"Only the chosen one shall remove this legendary spear from the stone and will be blessed by the goddess of chastity herself! In addition, we will invite the winner to tour with us around the world! Approved by the guild, of course."

Hermes finished and the crowd erupted into cheers. "Sounds like a scam," Hestia commented.

"Yeah, but if we win, then we get to travel the world." Lilly smiled at the thought.

"Hm, alright Bell, Enki, why don't you both give it a shot?"

Hestia turned to them with a beaming smile. She looked past them and pointed, stuttering, "Ais Wallenstein!"

"Ais!?" Bell turned back, blushing.

"You! Bell Cranel," the girl that accompanies Ais was Lefiya Viridis, a short elf with Golden Yellow hair and dark blue eyes.

'Oh good,' Enki groaned and just tuned the world out. Things went by as he remembered though Ais tried to strike a conversation with Bell but ultimately failed, with Lefiya getting between them and going to the stand.

She took on the challenge, pulling the spear out of a crystal formation. No matter how hard she tried, she failed. Ais went up. The crowd was expecting her to win, but she ultimately failed as well.

"Not even the great Ais Wallenstein could remove the spear. Does anyone still want to prove themselves?" Hermes shouted to the crowd.

"If Ais couldn't pull it out, then no one can," Lefiya sighed.

"Hmph, that's what you think! Enki, go up there and pull it out!" Hestia said, pushing him from behind.

"I don't want to, but I guess it wouldn't hurt."

"Pft, what is a level 2 going to do? Ais is level 6 did you forget?" Lefiya rolled her eyes.

"I don't like her," Enki muttered, frowning.

"Me neither," Hestia agreed before patting him on the back. "You can do it."

"Good luck Enki!" Bell and Lilly cheered for him.

"Oho? Are you the next one to pull Esteemed Alchemist?" Hermes spoke with a glint in his eyes.

"I'm on the stage, aren't I?" Enki said, moving to the spear. He breathed in and touched the weapon.
