65. Attacking Ether
"And why would her majesty do that? We hadn't even met each other back then? Why did she want me dead?" Ether asked, knowing where Vesta was trying to direct the current situation.
"Because she didn't want a powerless person like you to be the wife of his highness Prince Asterion, and be the next queen." Vesta said from the side.
"But it was my mother who had proposed my marriage to Princess Ether after you ran away from the wedding. Then why would she not want Ether to be married to me when she herself came up with the idea?" Asterion interrupted.
"Some priest had told her that whoever will marry you, she will die. Your mother anyways despised her for being powerless. Hence she told me to run away from marriage and let my sister marry you so that she could kill her and then let you marry me!" Vesta exploded from all the cross questioning.
