57. Falling for Major Aither
"You may not know this, but it is becoming a trend nowadays. My maid told me about two men in our kingdom who were head over heels for each other. Maybe Major Aither is modern like them." Princess Nerine completed, feeling smug after thinking that she knew about something that her elder brothers didn't.
"I think you are right." Suddenly Asterion said, now determined to play the game till the end.
"Did you notice anything abnormal in his behaviour?" Princess Nerine asked with interest.
"He always hugs me whenever we meet. And his hug is not the usual-brotherly-type-hug. It is as if his-life-depends-on-me-hug." Asterion pretended to widen his eyes, being as dramatic as he could be.
"Brother! Maybe Major Aither likes you." This time Princess Nerine was truly surprised.
"You should maintain some distance with him. What if he misunderstands your kindness for your agreement?" Even Prince Zayle was talking now.
