"We will move on to the next lesson tomorrow so get some rest and be upright when the sun comes out."
Sirius let out a breath of relief and just rested on the ground. He was currently glad he didn't have to undergo another rough lesson by the demon trainer.
"Go to the Holiday Inn. I trust that you have the payment in order to stay in the inn." Zero didn't say anything more and just left.
Sirius slowly got up a couple of minutes later and walked back to the fortress. Thankfully the guards didn't bother him since they saw him walk out with Zero.
If only they knew that Zero would have done nothing to help Sirius other than training.
Sirius went to a small inn the fortress had and walked to the receptionist.
"I would like to stay for two weeks."
"That would be 20 silvers."
Sirius took out a pouch of money and took out 20 silvers. The receptionist seeing such a young boy having a good amount of money assumed that he was the son of a noble, so she tried to get closer.
"I can purposely add in a bit of a treat for you my customer if you are willing?" The receptionist flashed a seductive smile while pulling down her shirt a bit to see her cleavage.
Sirius kept his indifferent expression while rejecting the woman. "No thanks. Where is my room?"
The woman looked mildly frustrated that she was rejected but shook it off as she thought he would come back and then she licked her lips and thought, 'They always do.'
"Well, you can always call me over later, no rush."
Sirius was getting a bit impatient as he was tired, "I said I am good, now where is my room?"
The woman smiled as she thought he was just keeping appearances, "Room 109. Just go down the hall and turn right and go down until you see that number."
Sirius took the room key and left. After finding his room, he jumped on the bed. 'This is not comfortable. Well, I'll get used to it.'
Sirius quickly fell asleep until later on, he heard the door open. Sirius grew cautious and wondered who it was but couldn't quite see in the darkness.
"I'm here, are you ready?" A woman's voice was heard, and Sirius quickly ran over to the counter to turn on the lamp.
'The receptionist?!'
The woman was still in her work clothes from earlier and began to take them off.
Sirius began to get angry that the woman disrupted his sleep since he had a long day ahead of him.
"Get out."
"E-excuse me?" The receptionist was taken aback.
"I said get out. I never asked you to come here."
"B-but——"
"But what? I don't care what you assumed, I said get out." Sirius got more annoyed with the thought that this woman bothered his sleep.
The receptionist started to get angry and felt humiliated that he would dare tell her to get out. 'Am I not attractive enough.'
Sirius began to push her out of the room and then he shut the door behind her and went to bed.
"Ah! Arghh! Hmph!" The woman flayed her arms as if she wanted to express something but then stayed quiet and went away.
Sirius though was having a bad dream about a demon with blue hair chasing him around the world and the demon's name was Zero.
The next morning Sirius woke up with bags under his eyes and did his morning routine to get ready. He exited the room and began walking to exit the inn.
On the way out he saw the receptionist that came into his room last night come out from another room with disheveled hair while holding up some of the clothes that she currently isn't wearing under.
She saw Sirius and smirked, 'Your loss."
Sirius didn't care since he saw that as an everyday sight in his last life and just focused on getting his mind ready for a rough lesson.
"Had a good sleep?" Zero asked with a smirk.
"No, I had quite the nuisance who came in my room and bothered my sleep and I also had a bad dream," Sirius grumbled but then realized the expression on Zero's face.
"Don't tell me you knew that would happen?!" Sirius was surprised.
"Call it a test I had for you, and you passed."
"A test? What did I need a test for?" Why do I need to take the test? I thought I already earned the qualifications.
"I wanted to see your will and see if you would succumb to lust."
"If it was anyone other than me, he would have done it, you know?"
"Yes, but if they were the person, I was training, and they did that then I would have killed them myself." Zero flashed a bloodthirsty grin.
Sirius was so thankful that he was already used to things like that from his past life and inwardly thanked his experience since it saved his life.
'Virgin for life is da way!' A saying he heard a couple of times in his past life too and now he realized that it is a true path to survival. After all, if he remained a virgin in his last life, he probably never would have died!
Emphasis on probably.
Sirius sighed at his new realization and felt regret.
"Let's go," Zero said.
" Where?" Sirius wondered but inside he begged, 'Please don't let it be so difficult.'
Zero didn't say anything but his face showed a bit of pity, but Sirius couldn't tell why.
Sirius stayed silent and followed Zero. They walked around the fortress and then Sirius spotted a big crowd that was bunching around.
" Move." Zero said and let out a bit of strength to move the crowd and make way for him and Sirius to move through.
" Hey! What's that for?!" A man in the crowd yelled.
Zero just looked at the man and his glare made the man piss himself. Sirius followed and they arrived at a podium where there was a man in chains that were all bloodied and beaten up along with another man holding a huge sword next to him.
"Jack, back off," Zero said to the executioner.
The man named Jack looked over to Zero and nodded his head. He backed up and zero grabbed Sirius's hand and pulled him on stage.
The crowd watching the execution went silent.
Sirius wondered what Zero was going to do and what Zero said to do made Sirius pale as a vampire.
" Kill this man."
