The next two days went by pretty quickly, but the nervousness and a tiny bit of fear racked Sirius these last two days ever since he knew he would meet Esdeath soon.
The idea of running away didn't even enter his mind since he knew that he would probably die if he left before the Partas training limit.
He also knew that the benefits that this training has given him, and he didn't want to lose that. So, during these last two days, Sirius trained even harder to prepare for any situation with Esdeath.
The problem that came with Sirius's newfound motivation is that Zero interpreted it as something else, something scary—no, much scarier.
Zero was currently sitting on the bench he made a while ago watching Sirius do some fitness and training exercises.
'Is the reason for this dedication to training more because of my daughter?' Zero thought for a second before he showed a shocked expression.
'Does he want to train himself to be even stronger to earn my approval to ask my daughter to marry?!'
Zero was enlightened! 'Maybe it is him that I can give my daughter to. After all, he is my student, and we are already tied by fate.'
'Wait! Could it be that he wants to marry my daughter to earn my approval and become my family?!'
Sirius was currently training with a bow aiming at trees trying to hit the bullseye when all of the sudden he felt a shiver that shook his body to the core.
'Why do I have a bad feeling.' Sirius looked at Zero and saw that Zero was busy having an enlightenment, 'Could the cause be him?'
Zero's brain was currently working at the highest speed possible right now, 'However, the problems that would come up with Sirius and Esdeath's marriage are not small. There are a lot of possible suitors and people who want Esdeath's hand in marriage.'
'I wanted my daughter to choose for herself but Sirius and Esdeath together somehow make perfect sense!'
'Even if any problems come up, I can just kill all of them or beat them up to a near-death state—no! I will have Sirius kill or beat them up so he can show them his strength and no one can fight him for my daughter's hand in marriage.'
'Wait! What about the children they will have?!'
Sirius felt another shiver go through his body even worse than the previous one. If he knew what Sero was currently thinking, he wouldn't pass out or care about the benefits of the Partas training, he would just run!
Zero's brain was going past its limits, 'I know that Sirius is different, he has morals that don't fit in with this world and he looks like he hasn't seen all that this world has to offer.'
'I don't think my daughter nor Sirius are going to accept this marriage so easily. It seems like I have a troublesome child and a troublesome student.' Zero's lips curved up a little and muttered,
"A troublesome family."
'I can send him on a trip with Esdeath to explore the world and they would eventually get closer and then they would accept the marriage without any trouble as they have developed an affection for each other but the problems that come after that worry me.'
'I guess I just have to train Sirius even harder so he can survive in Partas territory.'
Zero then remembered his late wife's words, "When our daughter has a husband and children in the future, we must do everything we can do to make them happy, even if we make the whole world our enemy."
Zero's eyes glistened dangerously, 'There are quite a few enemies of Partas. Maybe I should just end them before they come to end us. I can have Esdeath and Sirius stay here in Newcastle.'
No one knew that thought would eventually change everything!
Zero sat up from the bench and started to walk to the fortress and told Sirius. "Stay here and review all that you have learned the whole day. You better not let me find out you escaped or else—"Not having to say anything before Sirius nodded furiously, Zero left.
Once Zero entered the fortress, he met up with two of his subordinates and called them over to a secret place where they wouldn't be seen or heard by anyone.
Zero handed them a note, "I want you guys to bring that note over to my offices in the Partas territory. This is a highly top-secret mission, and it must not get revealed. If by any chance you guys get captured, before you do, rip up that note and kill yourself."
"Do you understand?" Zero leaned in a bit and showed a dominating presence.
"Yes!" The two soldiers furiously nodded their heads and immediately departed.
Watching his subordinates depart, Zero started walking back to Sirius, 'When the war starts, I will have Sirius participate as well as Esdeath. This will be a perfect experience for the two.'
A couple of moments later, Zero arrived at where Sirius was still diligently training. Sirius was training his aim with the bow and every time he missed, he would run and do fitness.
'I wonder how he will turn out in the future." Zero smiled in anticipation, "I am looking forward to it."
The rest of the day passed easily, and it was the end of the week and also the day of Esdeath's arrival.
Zero and Sirius were patiently waiting in front of the entrance for a while and Sirius was fiddling with his fingers in nervousness and wanted nothing more than to run away.
Zero, seeing Sirius so nervous, interpreted it as anticipation and smiled. 'This is where my plan starts.'
A while later, the teacher and student saw three people horse riding in the distance. They squinted their eyes and saw the people on horses were getting closer.
Once the people came closer Zero and Sirius caught sight of a girl with blue hair riding at them at full speed.
'My daughter!' Zero smiled.
'My nightmare!' Sirius bitterly smiled.
