Xuefeng didn't know how long he had been out, but he regained his focus while being pulled onto the rocky shore by Katherine. He still held onto Xinyu, who seemed to be doing much better than he was. Her body shone in his arms, almost burning to the touch as if undergoing the transformation of her Bloodline.
"You okay?" Katherine asked, seeing his eyes wide open. "You had me worried for a moment."
"I'm fine," Xuefeng reassured her, his gaze shifting to Xinyu. "I was just enjoying myself too much and accidentally poured a bit too much Bloodline Essence into her. I didn't think it would weaken me this much."
"Xinyu doesn't seem to mind. I can sense her Bloodline growing rapidly," Katherine replied, her eyebrows arching as she placed her hand on Xinyu's stomach. "It's actually much stronger than mine already. She should be able to activate her dragon form freely."
