50,000 years ago, Hell was destroyed because of too much Foul from the resentment of the souls that later turned to Soul Eaters and devoured everything in their wake, leaving nothing of Hell. The gods above in Heaven, in order to take care of the newly-died souls, created the Afterlife Department comprised of grim reapers. "Yi Bing…?" Huo Ling felt someone moved the book from his hands and he was roused from his light sleep. "You are back?" he asked when he smelled the strong scent of alcohol from the other.
"… en." Yi Bing answered as he placed the book on the coffee table.
Huo Ling fixed his sitting position and rubbed his eyes. He still felt sleepy. He was just reading a book earlier but suddenly he felt his eyelids became heavy. Before he knew it, he suddenly fell asleep. He doesn't know why he would suddenly become sleepy, as he didn't even exhaust his soul or his energy. But, for some reason, he suddenly feel very sleepy. He even let out a yawn, as if his sleep is not enough.
