Chapter 1 Divorce
"Go and inform Brandon. I have something to talk to him about divorce."
In the Evans group.
Susan, the president's secretary, looked at Ruby from head to toe in shock and asked incredulously, "Who are you looking for? What do you want to talk about?"
"Brandon, Brandon Evans."
"Are you here to make trouble?"
Where did this crazy woman come from?
"Mr. Brandon is in a meeting now. He doesn't see anyone else."
Susan sneered, her eyes full of disdain.
Ruby looked up at her and tapped her table with her slender fingers.
"You are fired," Ruby said coldly.
Susan couldn't help but burst into laughter. Her eyes were full of sarcasm. "I'm the chief secretary of the Evans group. Even if you're the CEO's wife, you're not qualified to fire me!"
"I was indeed not qualified to fire you as the CEO's wife."
After a pause, a cold smile appeared on the corners of Ruby's mouth. "My name is Ruby. Now I'm informing you as a director of the Evans group that from now on, you are no longer the Evans group's employee."
On the day of her wedding with Brandon, Brandon's grandpa was still alive and handed over twenty percent of the Evans group's shares to her personally.
She was the largest shareholder of the Evans group except for Brandon!
"What the hell! Is she Mr. Brandon's poor wife?"
It was said that she hadn't had a child for five years after she got married. She was born in a humble family and was timid and overcautious. She was not even qualified to go to a party.
What was wrong with her today? Why was she so angry?
"I'd better leave now. Mr. Brandon will teach this bitch a lesson!"
After Susan left, Ruby came to the door of the CEO's office alone. When she was about to push the door open, she heard a woman's bell-like laughter from inside.
"Brandon, do you still remember my favorite western restaurant?"
"Of course, I remember. Do you want to go?"
The man's magnetic voice was full of concern and tenderness.
He had a handsome face. His angular features were as perfect as a God's, and his every move exuded the charm of a mature man. To outsiders, he was the emperor who controlled the country's economic lifeline.
He was cold and determined.
But Ruby knew that it was not his nature to be cold!
He just left the gentleness to another woman!
How ridiculous!
This was the man she had loved for eight years and had to rely on for the rest of her life regardless of anything!
At this moment, Ruby's heart was completely ashen.
Looking at the words "Peaceful divorce, all the property in the marriage belongs to the man" on the divorce agreement in her hand, she suddenly felt like a joke.
Why would she leave everything that should belong to her to another woman to enjoy?
That's impossible!
Ruby turned into the CEO's office not far away and sat in front of a computer. She quickly printed out a new divorce agreement with her slender fingers on the keyboard.
She walked straight into the CEO's office and met the surprised eyes of the two people in the room. She threw the divorce agreement on the table and said expressionlessly, "Brandon, let's divorce."
