Lu Rong Tricking Bai Ran

Lu Rong knew she had come back from overseas. Bai Qian was slightly shocked. As expected, Lu Rong had already investigated her thoroughly.

Fortunately, he only found out that she had gone abroad. He had not found anything about her life before she went abroad.

Bai Qian angrily took off her clothes again and went to the bathroom to take a bath.

Bai Ran was wearing pink pajamas and was waiting for Bai Qian to sleep with her. She had specially reserved half of the bed for Bai Qian. Holding a fairy tale storybook in her hand, she swayed her tiny feet as she waited for her mommy to come to her room.

Unexpectedly, the one who came was her daddy.

Lu Rong saw that Bai Ran was still awake, so he asked gently, "Ran Ran, aren't you sleepy yet?"

"No," Bai Ran pouted and said.

Bai Ran saw her daddy speaking on behalf of that bad woman who hit her. So, to Bai Ran, her daddy was a bad person now.

Sensing that Bai Ran was unhappy, Lu Rong gazed at Bai Ran. He took two steps forward and sat on her bed.

Bai Ran's tiny feet stopped swaying. She lowered her head to read the fairy tale storybook, feeling wronged.

"Ran Ran," Lu Rong said gently, "that auntie will not come to Lu Garden again."

Bai Ran raised her little face in surprise and blinked her big innocent eyes as she asked, "Really?"

"Yes, Daddy has already chased her out," That was the first time Lu Rong coaxed a child. His voice was low, and he sounded a little helpless.

"Mm!" Bai Ran immediately perked up, "that is a bad auntie. Ran Ran doesn't like her!"

"Ran Ran, it's inevitable that you'll feel lonely at home. Tell Daddy where Mommy is, and Daddy will bring her back to accompany you, okay?" Lu Rong's tried to guide her to tell him Qi Qian's location, "with mommy around, no one will dare to bully you."

"Ah..." Bai Ran was about to reveal Mommy's whereabouts when she heard the first part. However, she immediately became alert when she listened to the last part of Lu Rong's words and said, "I, I don't know."

Her brother had said that she must not tell him who mommy was. Otherwise, it would be pointless for her to stay by their daddy's side.

Then, Bai Ran said with confidence, "Auntie Bai will protect me!"

Lu Rong frowned. He began to think that Bai Ran seemed to be depending too much on Bai Qian. So, he said, "Ran Ran, Auntie Bai is only a maid. Wouldn't it be better for Mommy to accompany you?"

Bai Ran held the storybook in his arms and said in a clear voice, "I want Mommy, and I want Auntie Bai too!"

Her mommy was Auntie Bai, after all.

Lu Rong was speechless. Bai Ran was a little stubborn. However, Lu Rong did not want to use those despicable means he used in his business on a kid.

So he decided to forget it and take it slow.

Bai Qian's voice came from outside the door, "Ran Ran, are you there?"

"Yes, Auntie Bai!" Ran Ran shouted excitedly.

When Bai Qian pushed the door open and came in, she saw Lu Rong. She subconsciously held her pajamas. Lu Rong suddenly entering her room had scared her.

Lu Rong stood up and said, "Ran Ran, sleep well. Daddy will go back to daddy's room first."

Bai Ran nodded. "Daddy, see you tomorrow."

Then, she opened her arms and welcomed Bai Qian, "Auntie Bai, give me a hug!"

When Bai Qian walked past Lu Rong, she nodded slightly and greeted, "Mr. Lu."

Lu Rong looked at her meaningfully and then left the room.

Bai Qian lifted the blanket and got on the bed. She took the fairy tale storybook from Ran Ran and started to tell her bedtime stories.

After a while, Ran Ran fell asleep.

Bai Qian stopped talking. When she saw the glaring redness on her daughter's pink cheeks, she kissed Bai Ran's forehead, again and again, feeling sorry for her daughter.

She said in a low voice, "Good night, my baby."

Then, she hugged Bai Ran and fell into a deep sleep.

Click! Someone closed the door lightly from the outside as if the wind had blown it shut.
