Time for Family

Aegis smiled as he was sitting in one of their family greenhouses with his entire family. It's not like they don't see each other often. Even Winter is coming home every weekday.

But even then, they never see each other at the same time other than when they eat as all of them have their own duties.

Winter has her school, and it is hard for her as she is the best student in the either academic or martial field. She wants to hold that position until she graduates and win a record with which she could start her own career. Winter is in these days happy as Schnee, but she still desires to be known as Winter and not just Schnee.

Aegis was very supportive of such a dream.

Willow their mother either always works on her charity projects or making sure that the Schnee name is seen in the light, as Willow does manage the entire PR of SDC and is the face of SDC as even if Aegis lead SDC, Willow is the one who everyone will think of when they hear SDC. Not speaking about the fact that Willow, in her free time, is either with girls or her friends, but she still gets time every night when Aegis overworks to visit him and by his side as silent support.

Aegis loves these times when they just sit by the fire, he works, and Willow just reads or sleeps beside him, making him relax by her mere presence.

Weiss? Aegis isn't pretty sure what she does, as even if Aegis gets multiple reports from her tutors on how much she progress and that she is a genius on his level. Of course, she is a genius! She is Aegis's little sister!

And even if Aegis himself sometimes takes his time to teach her about the world, no not geography or history, no what Aegis teach her and Harriet with Pyrrha is why there was war and making them think about the reason why there is racism, in short Aegis teach them about cruel nature of mankind.

No Aegis wasn't sure what she does in her free time as even if he usually catches her train or plays with her other sisters, or when she comes to play with him, there are times when she locks herself in her room, and Aegis is pretty sure that Weiss is taking his photos, or that his servants mentioned that some of his clothes are missing, and his underwear is the majority of it...

Still, Aegis is sure that Weiss is still young for such thoughts...

Right?

"Big brother, is there something wrong?"

Weiss asked, and as Aegis looked at her, he felt chill as he saw something in her eyes.

"No, it's nothing, Weiss."

Aegis said, and Weiss just hummed and ran back to their sisters.

Aegis's heart raced as he knew what these eyes were. They were the same eyes he saw in the mirror when he thought about his family, his female members of the family...

Maybe she is no longer so young, even if she still was just twelve, almost thirteen...

There was still a lot of time, but if Aegis was sure about himself, he knew that what she was now doing in her room with his underwear...

Still, Aegis remarked to himself to watch over her as he didn't wish for that madness to take over his little sister.

Gods knew that he himself has a hard time keeping the whispering at bay and not just jump on his mother or Winter...

Then there was Harriet, who Aegis knew had already become pretty much confident of herself, no longer there was the abused child, no in her place stood a confident and brave girl that was so cunning that these green eyes of hers sometimes almost shone with mischief.

But still, when they were alone, Harriet showed her another side of herself, and that was a lazy girl who wished just to cuddle with her favorite plush toy...

And that was Aegis, as he lost count on how many times Harriet just came to him and rather than to her room at night and just cuddled him until she fell asleep.

But the funniest for Aegis and very annoying for others was her new hobby of pranking, nothing malicious, just some harmless pranks as changing clothes after a bath or false farts on chairs, or kick me sign that she pinned on Weiss back...

To say Weiss was not happy when Pyrrha kicked her into but was like saying Grimms weren't a nuisance...

No, that day, Weiss showed how petty and angry she could be, and Aegis just rather forgot how many times he needed to call for handymen to repair some damaged parts of the mansion...

Still, it was worth it as Aegis was laughing from the heart when he saw Weiss with Harriet in a fist brawl with Pyrrha on the sides who tried to calm them down just to get punched by both of them...

With resulted in three side fist brawl on the ground as the girls kicked, punched, and pinned each other without stopping.

Aegis was just laughing as he saw their aura was still above half complete, so he let them get it off their system and secretly taken multiple pictures for future teasing...

Pyrrha, these days either studied with girls or trained on her upcoming tournaments. When Pyrrha came to Aegis for advice and help, he has taken her for the spar. To say Aegis beaten any honorable way of thinking about fights was an understatement as he made sure to teach her what Aegis taught his other sisters, and that's was to fight dirty.

So Aegis made her fight using any and all advantages she could get, and that was the reason he made multiple iron needles infused with gravity and wind dust for her semblance to use as long-range fighting.

Now Pyrrha gave up on hiding her semblance and use her needles in fighting openly...

And to say it was terrifying sight seeing hundreds of needles flying around you and hitting you every time you turn to another side was nightmarish.

And when they came close? Well, Pyrrha knew how to give precise and hard blows...

Then came Pyrrhas mother, Alexandra Nikos, who, after acclimatizing, asked for work, and Aegis readily accepted her help with the bane of his existence called paperwork.

And how happy he was, even if Aegis had Iris as his secretary, she didn't help him much with paperwork as he gave her management of his multiple businesses on shoulders.

No Alexandra was a heaven-given gift for Aegis's sanity, and after her first day, Aegis already could see his burden to improve as Alexandra had a talent for this line of work.

She was quick, polite, patient, and very very, very much stubborn to let paperwork win over her. Still, Aegis found out that Alexandra had a strange quirk and teased and flirted with him. Aegis could see she was just doing it for fun or to lighten the mood, but still, some of her words made sent Aegis iron will go almost into a frenzy...

Then, Iris was running an inspection on almost everything and was making his work plan with multiple appointments.

Iris, who Aegis never saw for a brute type of person, proved him wrong as Aegis found her one day in a training room with boxing bags that had different pictures of businessmen, politicians, and councilmen on them, just for her starting to punching them in a frenzy and hurling so many curses that were so creative that Aegis could never again eat pig meat without remembering what he heard that day...

In short, Iris mouth could give to even most veteran sailors run for lien.

"Aegis, Aegis? Honey, do you hear me?"

Aegis waked up from his thought just to see his mother's face close to his with worry and amusement in her gentle blue eyes that shone with love.

"No, nothing is wrong anymore."

Aegis said, and his body acted on instinct as he grabbed his mother, turned her around, and sat her down on his legs, ejecting surprised yelp from his mother and amusement from others, other than Weiss, who he could swear to see tsked.

"Ae-gis?! What are you doing? Let me go it-s; it's improper!"

Willow said as she tried to stand but failed as Aegis was still holding her with his hands around her abdomen.

"No, just stay like this..."

Aegis rested his head on her shoulder and whispered to her ear.

"Just stay."

Aegis said and could feel that Willow stopped fidgeting and just relaxed in his arms after a moment.

Aegis smiled as he took a deep breath of her hair, making Willow blush.

"Ara ara arara? Are you sick, Willow?"

Alexandra asked with false worry as she was smiling radiantly.

"N-o!"

Willow said as her blush deepened.

"Are you sure, Willow? after all, your normally pale skin is now so red that you could give Nikos hair run for the money."

Iris teased as she covered her smiling mouth with her hand.

"Shus, stop teasing my mother in front of me, just I can tease her in my presence."

Aegis said when he felt his mental inhibitions straining under the urge to just claim his mother finally for himself.

Genuinely being a hormonal teenager was horrible, and Aegis was sure his mother thought so too when she felt something poking her backside.
