The view was a masterpiece. Gold encrusted the sky as purple spilled into it like paint. Bright stars sparkled like diamonds, enriching the gassy masterpiece of the night sky. But as I watch this sight, a sense of confusion washes over me, causing my face to scrunch up in a frown.
'Where am I?' I questioned as I looked up at the view. I had just recently awoken, finding myself laying here looking at the night sky.
I tried to retrace my steps but nothing came up, as if I had forgotten the past few hours. An unsettling feeling crossed my heart, but I quickly shook it off.
'I should look around to see where I am.' I thought picking myself up.
But as my hands searched for the ground, I felt nothing. I frowned in confusion before looking down, only for my heart to stop.
Beneath me was the same sight as before. A night sky...
I abruptly looked up, causing my body to unexpectedly tilt and resulting in me falling backward.
A series of rapid motions follow in a heartbeat as I found myself somersaulting through the vast expanse of space, with the view of stars everywhere gracing my present.
I observed this in disbelief and shock as a single thought ran through my mind. 'What the fuck is happening?!?!'
Slowly the somersaulting stopped, leaving me sitting upright... Maybe.
'I... What...' My brain barely computes. After a few more seconds passed, I was able to think. 'How did I get here?'
I clutched my head as I searched through my memories but nothing came up. Nothing at all. I can't remember anything!
'WHY CAN'T I REMEMBER ANYTHING?!?!' I thought, panicking. 'WHY AM I HERE?! WHY AM I IN SPACE?!'
The thoughts raged in my head as I thought about my situation. Feeling my composure going down the drain I tried to calm down and think rationally.
'There has to be a reason why I am here.' I thought, looking around at the abyss of stars. I scanned my surroundings, looking for a shuttle or a spaceship, anything! But as I searched I found nothing.
'I don't see anything. I couldn't have just popped out of here out of nowhere... right?' I thought feeling uneasiness in my chest.
'What should I do now?' I thought. Slight tingles panic and fear overwhelmed my head, but I pushed those feelings aside to calm myself down. I focused on devising a plan of action for my current dilemma.
There didn't look like there was anything to receive from help. I check my body to see if I had anything on me, only to find nothing. I briefly thought about going into the unknown of space to find help, but quickly disregard it as I don't know if anyone or anything is out there.
Still holding on to the idea that I couldn't have come out of nowhere, I was unsure about drifting away from my spot.
Don't get me wrong, I don't want to be stranded floating in space. But even if I somersault all thing way to a planet, I'll just burn up to a crisp. Ignoring the fact that it would take forever to get to one.
The thought of staying was daunting enough, but if I leave and someone is coming to get me... I don't want to miss that. It is very possible no one will find me, but are my chances out there any better?
I couldn't have come here from out of nowhere, I know there was a place before this. Something must have happened for why I am here.
So I'll wait, and hope, someone will come.
-------------------------------------------------------
I watch the scenery while cuddled in a ball absentmindedly. No help had arrived yet. But I don't think help is coming.
Forty-something thousand seconds.
That was the highest I counted. It took me a couple of tries before getting that high, and I had long forgotten the exact number.
I stopped counting after that, it was hard to do with the thoughts in my mind. Questions that brought me pain and loneliness, rattling my doubts and fears.
I had to stop counting. I had to stop thinking. I just need to wait... for help.
My hand twitched before I gripped my knees. My teeth gritted up as my eyebrow turned into an intense frown.
'Who am I kidding? Thousands of those forty-something seconds have passed by now! No one is coming!' My thoughts roared out in frustration.
'I'm trapped! Stuck! Lost! Stranded!' I thought as my body timber in anger. 'Why am I here?! I want to go back! I want to go home!'
'I know there was a place before this, words that are stored in my brain acknowledge such a place. TAKE! ME! BACK!'
I burningly stared at the scenery, huffing and puffing from the fit. My stare lessens and lessens as seconds pass. A wave of sadness overcame me as my eyes well up with clumps of tears. I watch the tears from the bubbles float away.
I watched as they went far far away until I was unable to keep up with them. My focus trailed to the horizon of stars yet again, wondering if I could find help out there.
I shot it down. It was futile. There was no way to leave this place, no way to go back home. The thoughts hurt so much it makes my heart ache. I don't want to be stuck here.
'Please...' This was my last hopeful thinking.
'If anyone is out there... Please take me out of here... Before I quit on myself.'
I eyed the stars one last time before closing my eyes. 'Please.'
Suddenly, my ear tingled, and a burning feeling filled it before rattling my whole body.
BOOM!
My body was unresponsive, due to the suddenness and the shock of the noise.
BOOM!
But another sound came, waking me up from my stupor. My head jolted up and turned around to see what was happening.
BOOM!
'Noise? In space?!' I thought, scouring the cosmos for the source of the sound, twisting my body in every direction. That was when I notice something.
To the right, I could see stars blurring together, creating a white line. I thought I was miss-seeing things because of dizziness, but as I watch, the line continue to grow longer. It spanned wide, making turns and curves that create a human-like figure.
Without warning, the once bright scenery of stars dimmed and the white line turned to a shade of purple. Everything in the middle of the figure was voided. With only a few stars within able to shine. Except for the heap of stars at its head, forming a swirl.
The figure got more and more defined, being a 3D giant that loomed over me. The swirl on its face getting bigger and brighter.
I watch this with a mix of awe and fright. 'What is this thing?' I thought as something was finally happening. Something big.
I stood- floated there still as I was conflicted about what to do. I was a little intimidated by its presence and wasn't sure if I should gravitate toward it. However, I thought about my time here, and how I wished to leave this place. And now there is some cosmic being here. I need to grab this chance. Who knows what would happen if I don't.
Suddenly, I saw movement to my side. I quickly turned over to notice a purple outline of a hand reaching toward me. My eyes dash toward the towering figure, whose swirling eye was looking directly at me.
I could barely react before feeling pressure surround my entire body. Although it didn't hurt, my movement was restricted. Then suddenly, without warning, I was lifted by the giant's star-polluted hand.
As I gazed out toward the giant, I was mesmerized by the view in front of me. Starlights were streaming down as the hand of the giant's hand lifted me at high speeds, making the passing stars look like comets in a meteor shower. Soon the starlights slowed down before I was halted in front of the giant's face.
I stared at him as he stared at me, the atmosphere silence as an unknown tense accompanies it. Neither of us spoke, but I guess it can't speak as it has no mouth. So I hesitantly decided to speak. I open my lips and move them to produce a sentence, but nothing came out. My hands instantly draw to my mouth in shock before remembering why I was muted.
'Oh yeah, I'm in space.' I thought, slightly questioning how the giant made all those explosions.
I awkwardly stare at the titan as me still in his grasp. With seemingly no way of communication between us, I was a bit off-putted. But at least I have company now, maybe it could help me later on-
Expectedly, I was blind by a bright light as the giant's swirling face suddenly illuminated. I closed my eyes to avoid the attack on my eye, but despite them being closed I was still receiving the blast of light.
Actually, I could see everything clearly! But I feel my eyelids closed!
I felt the Giant's hand jolt forward, seeing it slowly moving toward its face.
Maybe this was a bad idea.
The hand continued to move towards the swirl before launching me forward. I self-consciously bring my arms up as my vision was engulfed in light before darkness.

Hello, a little update for the new rewrite. Sadly, this was all I have to show for the wait. I can't provide weekly, especially not right now. But I will try to post when I can.
