The Mad God Incident - V

The war had been going on for a week and currently all sides were in deep sorrow, Lucifer and the Satans had died during battle they had struck down the Biblical God or so everyone had been told. What actually happened was that when they had clashed with God, they alongside God were torn to shreds and devoured by Asahi who did it grinning madly. The Biblical Factions chose to keep it hidden in order to not demoralize the soldiers and all sides had joined together, they recognized the threat that the Cataclysm Order posed and they would work together to crush it.

Only now it was a bit to late for that, Asahi stood at the front of the forces staring at the Christian armies with a creepy smile. Crom Cruach walked up to him and tapped his shoulder, "This is the final one. You remember right?" he was looking forward to the upcoming fight. The Gods stood behind him and all of them had come to trust him after all he had helped them out countless times and would also allow them to maintain their powers.

Asahi nodded at him ," Yeah, like you say this is the last one." and turned around looking at the forces of the Cataclysm Order, a wild grin formed on his face as everyone looked at him expecting another speech. Darkness rose up behind him, covering him only his purple glowing eyes could be seen now, "I see dead people." a distorted disembodied voice said confusing everyone. Odin's eyes widened, "Don't tell me-!" laughter started ringing out creeping out everyone. Michael looked at the scene, "He'll pay... But what is this?"

Gabriel wasn't here, God's death devastated her and they had left her alone for now so that she may be able to get over it. "Hehehehe...Fear those who lurk in the dark." a gigantic black scaly arm came out of the mist and slammed into the ground killing hundreds of thousands from the sheer size of the thing. "What the hell is going on?!" one of the Devils shouted confused and afraid much like everyone else.

Another arm came out killing even more spreading confusion, fear and death. Azazel's eyes widened, "Shit! Shit! Shit!". A certain red haired Devil came near him, "What happened?" Azazel fiercely scratched his head, "Those things existed! This is bad! Get everyone out of here! We seriously don't stand a chance!" he shouted backing away. Another Devil laughed, "Hahahah, what's got you scared? Just because it's big doesn't mean it's strong!" he shouted charging at it but his weapon broke into two when he hit it. That wasn't the end of it, a large eye opened up staring straight at him making him shiver in fear but he all of a sudden disappeared, he had been erased from existence.

*SSCCCCRRRRREEEEEEECCCHHH*

An inhumane screech rang out blowing the ear drums of many around it, the hands dragged the ground in as a gigantic grotesque creature dragged itself out striking fear in to the hearts of those who saw it, normally they would have gone mad but Asahi was preventing that, this was because killing someone who is perfectly aware of what was happening is much better. Indra chuckled, "That's one ugly son of a bitch." he said looking at the numerous tentacles that were attached to it's lower body and the three grotesque hands.

Tsukuyomi who was also fond of reading books and the like instantly recognized what that was, "S-Sister I d-don't think w-we're safe." she said there was no way those Gods would not betray someone and she was afraid, if the books were anything to go by they were basically, "We're fucked." Odin said confusing everyone. But a tentacle slammed down into the Cataclysm Order's forces proving their points, "Is he betraying us?!" Ares shouted angrily but was thrown away by a tentacle that slammed into his chest showing what he said was true.

"FUCK!!" Indra shouted agitated, they were the ones being played! He charged at the gigantic creature aiming to blow it's head off, but was smacked away by a hand crashing into a crater. The shock was greater because each of them trusted Asahi even if a little bit. "This can't be happening right?" Amaterasu muttered looking at the bloody Indra, if he lost then they won't win since Indra was one of the strongest among them. "How could you?" she said in a low voice, but as if he heard it the creature showed a sick grin, Asahi was enjoying this very much.

The tentacles started whipping around killing millions, tearing them to pieces not even giving them a chance to scream. Asahi was going wild and having fun. He lowered his head and screeched firing off a beam that destroyed everything in it's path. The Dragon Kings had had enough of his bullshit and each of them attacked him, "I'll beat his ass!" Yu Long shouted and charged at him with unimaginable speed only to be grabbed by a third hand which was sticking out from above the right arm. The gigantic dragon looked like a child in front of Asahi, whose form was so gigantic it reached the sky.

He spun Yu Long around and looked at the charging Tiamat before spinning him around and throwing him straight at Tiamat, the dragons entwined and crashed into the ground injured. Crom grinned madly and charged at Asahi he would have his fight now! But like everyone else his attempts were useless as he was grabbed and torn into two. The creature then waved it's hand over Crom reviving him leaving a trembling Crom, he was sure he had died there. The creature seeing his form grinned from joy.

The Gods started retreating they weren't in this for a fight to the death, his betrayal had struck them hard, disorienting many leaving them not wanting to fight. "I knew men shouldn't be trusted." Artemis muttered teleporting away with a scowl. If the Dragon Kings were totaled that easily how much of a chance did they stand although Susanoo and Ares had to be forcibly taken back. The losses this time wouldn't be small.

The creature raised it's head to the sky and screeched blowing eardrums, it then placed it's hands down and leaned forward biting down on millions consuming them, 'Wouldn't this be cannibalism?' Asahi asked himself but shrugged it's not like he actually ate anything, the space inside his mouth was nothingness, Ophis appeared beside the creature and sat down on it's shoulder, "I, have appeared Ehem." she said like nothing was wrong and curiously stared at the ongoing massacre.

Millions of missile like appendages shot from it's body piercing many, although they were akin to strings they would eat away at the insides, "W-What is th- AAHHHHHHHH" an angel screamed in pain as she was consumed. Michael raised his hand brought it down as hundreds of millions of light spears were launched by his fellow arch angels and other angels, the sky was covered in light which struck the creature. "We shall strike you down! Revenge for our Father!" Michael shouted throwing a gigantic light spear.

The creature in response covered the girl on it's shoulder with a hand making her smile at it. As the light spears struck the entire creature was covered in explosions but that wasn't the end of it the Devils launched their magics as well alongside the fallen angels, almost a billion explosions took place as the creature screeched madly. After several minutes as the smoke cleared away many stared on with hopeful eyes failing to notice that the Cataclysm Order had somewhat evacuated well nearly all of them were killed but some were saved, killed by whom killed by the creatures whipping tentacles.

"D-Did we do it?" a Devil noble asked no one in particular, he was afraid for his life that thing with each movement killed millions of them and almost all their forces had been wiped from existence. To their surprise the creature was gone. "We did it!" A fallen angel shouted as many cheered. Azazle was deep in thought, "It couldn't be that easy.." a distorted laughter rang out, "HAHAHAHAHAHA!" making many tremble they recognized that voice. As they turned around they saw it simply standing behind them without a scratch on it as it madly grinned. It raised it's head as light was literally sucked in from everywhere leaving everything in darkness even though it was mid day.

A single blue glowing object slowly fell down to the ground, but as soon as it did the light returned and it burnt everything that was remotely touching the ground to ashes, many stared at it in horror, forgetting the creature itself from the extent of the damage that had been dealt. Hundreds of Millions were dead not even leaving a body for funeral. Azazel looked up with a pale face, he was sure all of them would die here but the creature had disappeared. This was the end of the Great War, an event that would be remembered as the Mad God Incident and the event that proved the existence of the Great Old Ones after all that thing was completely mentioned complete with an image in a certain book. All of them started ordering their men back with heavy hearts. "Fuck!" Azazel shouted teleporting away, the damages were too much!

IN THE COMMAND ROOM,

The Gods lay beaten on the floor with the Carrera, Testarossa, Ultima, Milim and Kumara standing over them, these guys had attacked them after they teleported here for some reason shouting traitors or something. Carrera scratched her head wondering how these idiots didn't expect it with how creepy the guy looks and acts, Milim nodded her head she had decided this world was weak! There was no one strong here and she wanted to go away!

Kumara clicked her tongue, these weaklings had nerves but she was forbidden from killing them so she wouldn't do it. But before they could move rifts opened up and tentacles came out of them wrapping around each of them, dragging them into them as they struggled. Asahi chuckled seeing them trying to get free from his tentacles and walked through a rift arriving smack dab in the middle of a meeting where hundreds of Gods were present, all of them stared on in shock as he proceeded to stand up and walk away dragging five girls behind him like nothing happened.

An old man cleared his throat, "*EHEM* Ignoring that, Let us gods fight it out with humanity!" he declared raising his hands up as the other Gods in the room cheered, they would show that humanity was just a plaything to them and they were the ones who stood on the top not some stupid self harming insects. He hit a hammer on the table declaring his decision as a girl in the room grinned at him while another little one shivered.

As for Ophis she was left behind for now since Asahi wasn't that sure of his feeling and neither was she, if he had been sure he would rag her along whether she wanted it or not and spent years convincing her.
