Acting swiftly, Dave reached for Bianca’s wrist again, swung open the door to a nearby private room, and pulled her inside.
The room was empty and cloaked in darkness.
“Dave, what are you doing...?” Bianca’s protest was interrupted by an unexpected kiss.
Outside, Ruby, Vincent, and Paige halted near the room.
“I can’t find Bianca. I want to say goodbye before I leave,” Ruby’s voice echoed through.
Bianca was on the other side of that door, held tightly in Dave’s embrace. She pushed against him, trying to escape, but he held her firmly, like an unyielding wall.
His kisses grew more intense, pressing her against the door and stealing her breath away in waves that left her dizzy and overwhelmed.
Outside, Vincent’s voice carried through the hallway, reaching them clearly. “She might be out handling some work, Ms. Garcia. If you’re in a hurry, feel free to go ahead. I’ll inform Bianca you were looking for her once she returns.”
