Drac Is Gonna Die

"Time flies by as the days pass...

Drac, the veteran warrior, spends his days honing the skills of the younger generations. Meanwhile, the elite squads are sent out on missions across the planet, with strict instructions not to harm any of the native races or cause any destruction. S Squad leader, Kiron, stays by Queen Safira's side along with the Royal Vigils, prepared for any unexpected outbursts from the Queen.

Every day, knowledgeable tutors arrive to educate the young ones and enlighten them about the planet's rich history. The children venture to the library, while the tutors wait in their private rooms, ready to offer personalized instruction to each student, catering to their individual learning needs.

As Queen Safira and Queen Estel watch over Damian, he receives special lessons from a teacher. Unlike other children who learn their clan language and the universal language simultaneously, Damian, without a clan language, struggles to grasp the universal language he was unable to learn for some reason."

And so, the tutor made a decision. He would teach Damian the universal language first and the forest elf language later, once he has a solid understanding of the main language.

Queen Safira wholeheartedly agreed and asked if she could leave notes for Damian to study Dragonein with Queen Estel. The tutor eagerly agreed, stating it would be his honour to help Damian if he ever faced difficulties, as he did not have a complete understanding of the complex language.

Prince Logon and Princess Aeryn, the budding warriors, completed their written lessons and training in the art of SilentKnife, a combat technique developed by the forest Elfs to discreetly take down beasts. From a young age, the elf clan trains its children in knife usage, and when they turn 10, they can choose their preferred weapon, such as a sword or bow.

Damian's lessons were progressing exceptionally well. Initially slow, he quickly picked up the alphabet and vocabulary once he learned to read and say each letter. The teacher was impressed by his quick learning, as some children are naturally gifted at learning while others excel in combat or other areas. In consideration of Damian's traumatic past, the decision was made to skip combat training for now, and he would solely focus on his studies.

As night fell, Queen Safira was seen bathing with Damian and Fenris. She tested Damian on the alphabet as she washed him, and he answered every question with ease. Fenris watched in awe as he saw how much Damian had grown and how quickly he was able to learn.

"Damian, you truly are a remarkable boy, keep up the good work," Queen Safira gave him a thumbs up and a warm smile."

He smiles at the thumps up and doesn't know what she said exactly just yet…. but thumbs up are good in his mind

Queen Safira: "Come on, Damian. You're so smart! Can you say something sweet?"

Damian: "Uhmm...Safira and Fenris is gorgeous?"

Queen Safira nods: "Close, darling. It's 'Safira and Fenris are gorgeous.'' Keep trying, okay? Promise me?" She raises a finger towards him, her claws retracting.

Damian looks at the finger and back at Safira: "What's a promise, Safira?"

Queen Safira: "Oh, sorry Damian. A promise is when you vow to do something, or not to do something. Do you understand now?"

Damian shakes his head no.

Fenris: "Mom, let me try. Damian, watch." She takes Damian's index finger with hers. "I, Fenris, promise Safira that I won't hurt Damian." She seals the deal, then looks at Damian. "See, Damian? Now if I hurt you, Safira will be sad, and sad is?"

Damian: "Sad is bad."

Fenris nods and kisses him on the cheek.

Damian: "Can Damian promise to work hard and not give up?"

Danian: "If I don't work hard, Safira will be sad, and that would hurt her."

Queen Safira and Fenris nod at him.

Damian takes Safira's finger and seals the deal.

Queen Safira claps and gives him a big kiss on the cheek.

The three of them finally get out of the bath and climb into bed, ready to sleep and start a new day.

Days went by as Damian continued his learning journey. He was now able to count to 100 and could form semi-sentences, albeit imperfect ones. Despite the occasional laughter he received, Damian never forgot a complete sentence or any information that was taught to him.

One day, Prince Logon caught up to his uncle, Drac, just as he was about to leave the mansion for the younger dragons.

"Uncle Drac! Uncle Drac! Wait! I... I need... I," Prince Logon huffed and puffed as he finally reached Drac.

Drac turned around and scolded Prince Logon for his poor stamina. "Prince Logon, why are you so out of breath? Take a deep breath and then speak. I'll wait for you. I'm not in a hurry."

After a minute of waiting, Prince Logon finally mustered up the courage to ask Drac for help. "Uncle Drac, I need your help with something."

Drac, worried about what was to come, asked, "What's the matter, Prince Logon?"

"Uh, well... hypothetically speaking, how can you tell if a girl likes you?" Prince Logon's face turned red as he looked around before facing Drac again.

Drac sighed, realizing that he was in for a tough conversation. "Why do you ask, Prince Logon? You should be focusing on other things, don't you think?"

"Well, you said you were a ladies' man back in the day, so I was just wondering how you could tell if a girl likes you," Prince Logon explained, trying to sound confident.

Drac took a deep breath and tried to answer Prince Logon's question. "It depends on the girl, Prince Logon. All girls are different, so there's no easy way to tell. However, if a girl is shy around you and blushes, or if she spends more time with you than with her other friends in the room, then she might like you."

As Uncle Drac and Prince Logon continued their conversation, the topic shifted to the art of charming women. "Hypothetically speaking," Uncle

Drac sighs he's gonna die but he began, "if you want to talk to a girl without sounding like an idiot, first look her way without a creepy smile. Wait a moment, then approach her and greet her, complimenting her on her hair, eyes, or outfit. Ask her about her day, and what she likes, and listen carefully. And most importantly, make her laugh. Girls love a funny guy, not an ass."

"Thanks, Uncle Drac," Prince Logon replied, "but how do you make a girl laugh without offending her?"

"It varies depending on the girl, but being yourself is always the best option," Uncle Drac replied.

As Prince Logon prepared to leave for class, Drac suddenly stops Prince Logon with a series of "Whoas." He narrows his eyes and says, "First, why all the questions? Second, if anyone asks who told you all this, you say Kiron, got it?" He finishes with a sly grin on his face.

Prince Logon's face flushes with embarrassment as he stammers, "Umm, no reason. Alright, no problem. I've got to go to class now, remember?"

He quickly rushes away, trying to put as much distance as possible between himself and Drac.

Drac shakes his head with a small chuckle. "Such a sly little kid, like I wasn't like that when I was his age." He mutters to himself, "I know exactly what you're up to, Prince Logon." With that, he turns on his heel and walks away, lost in thought.

As Prince Logon made his way to class, his mind was consumed with thoughts of Drac and how he could avoid coming off as a fool or a mean jerk in front of her. Suddenly, he remembered Drac's words of wisdom, "Just be yourself."

But before he could fully embrace the advice, his tutor appeared. "Where have you been, young man? Do I need to inform your mother of your tardiness?" the tutor asked sternly.

Prince Logon's face turned red as the thought of his mother finding out he was late added to his stress. "Uh, nothing sir. Please don't tell her, she'll kill me. I'm nearly 10 years old, I don't want to see that day," he pleaded.

The tutor raised an eyebrow, "And what's this 'just be yourself' nonsense?"

Thinking quickly, Prince Logon suggested, "Maybe I can do extra math work as punishment?"

The tutor stroked his chin in contemplation, "You're already a genius in math so that hardly seems like a punishment. How about some extra chemistry work instead?" He grinned mischievously.

Despite his sigh of defeat, Prince Logon knew that he had to agree to the tutor's strategy or else face an even greater consequence.

The next day, Drac learned why Prince Logon had been so secretive. The Twilight clan was invited to the mansion for a playdate with the children of King Aerin and Queen Estel, ahead of his party. Twilight King and Queen, who doted on their only daughter, eagerly accepted the invitation as they were fond of King Aerin and Queen Estel's company.
