Book 2 - Chapter 10- Makai – Going On Our Honeymoon

~~

Makai

~~

Ocean and I had changed into some comfortable clothes and got ready to leave. We were being driven to the airport by my dad. And, man, was that weird to see when he offered the ride to us. Ocean, Ben, Ryan and I all went down stairs only to find my dad standing there with a driver's cap in his hand.

"Come with me gentlemen, I will be driving you to the airport on this fine evening." He bowed to us as if he were not my dad and instead was some weirdo that had been hired. I was tempted to treat him like the weirdo instead of like my family.

"Stupid rock paper scissors." Ocean's dad grumbled in the background which led me to believe that the two of them had battled it out with a fierce hand to hand duel of rock paper scissors to see who would get the honor of driving us tonight.

"Uhm, Mom, can you drive us?" I asked her with a look of concern in my eyes. "Or we can drive ourselves. We can just put my car in long term parking."
