Alucard snickered, 'You won't escape.' He stood up and followed behind, "I'll help you~"

"You don't need to!"

"I insist, from where I come its bad manners to not help wash the dishes." He smiled and the two started washing the dishes much to Tang Wan's irritation.

'Bullshit…'

"Tell me about her father." He suddenly said.

Tang Wan gave him a glance, trying to get any reaction out of him, "He's a politician in Beijing, his name is Fang Zhongping, we were originally supposed to marry as an alliance of families, but I rejected it as I didn't love him. I got his sperm in a test tube and had Tangtang with Artificial Insemination. Now our families are allied through Tangtang, my family is still pushing me to marry him even now but I keep refusing. If I don't find someone soon, I'll have to end up marrying him..." then explained, still paying attention to his expression, the last part was a lie… but she wanted to see how he would react.

"You told me that she didn't have a father." He asked with furrowed brows.

"Humph! She doesn't. He hasn't spent a single day with just Tangtang, it's always the three of us, otherwise, he won't spend time with her, what do you think is the purpose of that?" She asked with a huff as she cleaned a plate.

'He's using his daughter to get close to her.' He thought with a frown.

"Does it bother you?" She asked giving him a sidelong glance, washed a dish and passed it to him for drying.

"No, I'm sure you will find someone." He answered nonchalantly.

"Ho? How are you so sure? I don't think I have met anyone yet~" She giggled with a wink, as much as she didn't want him to go over to Lin Ruoxi, she still loved to be sought after by him and did it any chance she got.

Alucard smirked and kept drying the dishes, "It is said that vampires don't reflect on mirrors, maybe you have found him, but you can't see him."

His words made her stop and hold a breath, the kitchen top cupboards had mirrors as covers.

She sent a furtive glance as if just to make sure and clear the little speck of doubt in her heart and surely...

There he was, smiling at her through the reflection.

'Of course, there is just no way.' She sighed.

"You know, I remember my Grandfather reading Bram Stoker's books, and I don't remember Count Dracula being so flirty and straightforward. Are you sure you are impersonating him correctly~?" She giggled an insinuation and washed the last dish.

Alucard followed on queue and cleaned that dish, "Maybe you don't know him enough." His voice turned serious as he moved slowly and technically leaned on Tang Wan's back.

The later was now with her thighs and abdomen pressed to the worktop, a blush crept in her visage when she felt his crotch press against her butt unhindered.

She could feel it, if they went all the way now, she wouldn't be able to stop.

She would truly fall beyond redemption, her infatuation for him was that advanced.

This man was everything she sought in a partner. The dream partner that she had been wishing for years was him.

But they only met not too long ago, it was simply too fast! She was falling in love too fast! To the point it even scared her.

"I don't want it to be just one night Vlad, I'm not looking for passion, I want someone to be with me through the rest of my life. Alucard sighed as he knew where this conversation was going.

"I understand, it will be as you want." He said softly with a nod and put her back down.

"P-Please don't misunderstand me! I like you! It's just that, it involves more than just me! I want to keep meeting you, Vlad." Something inside her cracked at that moment and hurriedly hugged him, afraid he thought something different than what she was conveying.

She really liked him, everything about him!

His way of being, his uncaring nature, his freedom, his words. God, even that ridiculous fanatism for Dracula gave him an original and cute touch.

He had passed her most important test.

Her daughter was headstrong, if she stopped her from doing something, she'd probably do it faster...

Be it as it may, Alucard passed all her tests with flying marks.

But she didn't expect him to pass all her barriers so soon.

How could he possibly get together in a relationship with a man she met for a week!? That's what she thought this morning, but now…
