The city covered by mist (Part-2)

Michalina sighed as she walked through the dead town, the ground crunching under her boots.

She was flanked on her sides by Donna and an elf named Siora, Ylerias's second in command.

"This place is oddly eerie and quiet for my liking."

Michalina grunted in agreement as Siora spoke, "So true, Donna and this fog is the worst."

Siora's eyes narrowed as she announced, "Something is following us."

Donna was about to turn, but Michalina stopped her and hurriedly whispered, "Don't turn; be vigilant, but act normal."

"Siora, can you tell me how many there are?"

Siora closed her eyes, briefly concentrating before she spoke, "I detect four, no five; the last one is trailing a bit further than the rest."

Suddenly, the creatures dashed towards them, trying to flank them, but the trio were prepared and opened fire at them.
