The whole incident only took five minutes , From the bald man who was about to kill them and to the later getting killed without having any time to put up a fight against winter .

The survivors were now looking at winter with more caution and awe . They felt uncomfortable facing the pressure from winter gaze so they ultimately lowered their eye contact . Only the injured youth looked at winter eye contact fearlessly.

Winter nodded inwardly when he saw the youth stats but pity that this person couldn't awaken ability or else he would have been a great help to him.

ABILITY : NO ABILITY ]

This person must have killed few zombies to reach level 4 , that's why the bald man didn't fight him before until he awakened the ability . But Winz cartel didn't have the ability , it's looks like he could only be ordinary fighter or soldier .

Winter looked at him and said casually

"Not bad , You seems to work in military before ?"

Hearing this Winz was surprised but said bitterly after some second

"I've once worked for three years in military that's why I can kill some weak zombies . Thanks to the experience I got there in back."

Winter already knew the answer because Winz was still talking casually with him when his shoulder fractured from the laser beams but these person didn't scream at all.

only military people have these kind of wills to endure the pain.

One of the survivor couldn't but say in caution tone

"Sir are you here to rescue us ? Are you from military ?"

The rest of them looked at winter in hope .These people thought that winter was from military seeing him killing the thugs easily But pity winter was going to disappoint them.

Winter shook his head and said coldly

"No I'm not from military and I didn't come here to rescue you all"

Hearing this their eyes dimmed down but Winz cartel couldn't help but ask

" These Mister are you a ability user?"

Winter knew why these people are thinking so he said flatly

"No . I can't awaken my ability ".

Hearing this Winz was surprised because the strength shown from winter was too strong yet he didn't have any ability ?

Winz was a prideful person . When apocalypse arrived, he single-handedly started to kill zombies and level up to his current strength but when he tried to awaken his ability he ultimately failed. He didn't know how to awaken the ability but he knew one thing for sure is that only awakening the ability can he have some true strength or else he will soon end up dying by zombies .

He couldn't help but say bitterly

"I wonder when I will awaken my ability !"

Winter shook his head and said

"Forget about ability awakening for now , Whats your plan now ?"

Rest of the survivors looked towards Winz cartel with questioning look.

It's looks like they already have decided to make him as their leader.

Winter observed their reaction and thought.

Winz cartel thought for a while and said

"I don't know what to do . I will wait for the miltiary rescue here and go towards to the survivor camp with them ".

Winter said with a straight tone

"You think they are going to cross all these mutant beasts and zombies to save you guys ?"

This was bitter truth . No matter what this reality is often different than we hoped.

The survivors didn't believe that something would happen like that but they still hoped that it would be true.

Winz cartel said with a smile filled with hope and confidence .

"As long as we have hope , We will have solutions for it ".

Winter fell in deep thought . This person words rang deep into his heart .

After some time winter said to him clearly

"How about this I've some work to do now , After some days I will return here again . If you are truly alive at that time ! You can work for me ? What do you say ?"

hearing this he was stunned and was about to say something but winter stopped him and said slowly

"Let's talk all about it later when you are truly alive at that time " .

Winz cartel showed a speechless look and said slightly

"We have foods here and a roof for protection .All we need to is hide and defend here then we can live without any problem "

The rest of the survivors agreed and finally showed a smile .

Winter thought was more deeper than them .

'It's not just about defending , they are more scary that you think '

But he didn't say anything instead he returned to his poker face expression.

After half an hour later both Jonathan and mark came towards him with exhausted face .

"Boss we took all the clothes and daily necessities to sustain for some times"

"Yes we can ready to leave this place now "

Clearly they felt fatigued from all the shipping from here and there.

'Its looks like they need some exercise later'

Winter inwardly thought and said to them coldly .

"You two take the vehicle and return back . I will have some buisness here to done ".

Jonathan said in surprise tone

"Boss you have some work here ? How about I tag along with you ?"

But winter refused immediately

"No . It's dangerous and you guys will bring more trouble than helping me . So you guys leave now , I will return within a week time "

Mark said slowly

"Be careful boss "

Winter nodded and they both left to the truck . Soon after the vehicle leaving sound could be heard . Seeing this Winz cartel asked in puzzled tone

"You aren't going with them ?"

He thought that after getting supplies winter will return back but it's look like he was wrong.

Winter turned around and said with a serious face to him

"No ....I've some unfinished business here to finish "

As he said his eyes become sharp and filled with adventurous spirit .

Behind him Winz had complicated emotions .
