When she woke up the next morning, Pei Ziheng had already left.
Xia Ling got up and went downstairs, only to find that Nanny Zhou was quietly shedding tears.
Xia Ling asked, "Nanny Zhou, what's wrong?"
When Nanny Zhou saw Xia Ling, her tears came gushing down. It took her a while to be able to talk between sniffles, "Madam, are you leaving Mister? How could you leave him at such a difficult time? Shouldn't husband and wife go through tough times together?"
Xia Ling was stunned. What was this all about?
She knew that Li Lei would force Pei Ziheng to release her, but how would Nanny Zhou, a servant, know about her leaving? Unless…
"What did Pei Ziheng tell you?" Her voice trembled.
"Mister said, when you're up, the chauffeur will send you to Skyart where Mr. Li is," Nanny Zhou said between tears. "He even packed your things personally, and insisted that I made sure you brought them along."
Pei Ziheng was willing to let her go?!
