Xia Ling heaved a huge sigh. Finally relieved, she decided to take a walk in the hallway and relax herself.
But having stood still for too long, her legs had gone numb, and she fell flat on the floor the moment she tried to move. In the fluster, she had knocked into something and heard someone go "Oh no", followed by the shattering of an object. Warm water splashed on the floor next to her and wet her clothes.
"This is a birthday gift from my brother! It's a limited edition!" A girl squatted down beside her and looked at the fragments sadly. She told her off, "How could you be so clumsy!"
Xia Ling struggled to get up, and only then did she see all the shattered pieces.
It seemed like she had broken a cup.
She felt bad about it. "I'm sorry." She remembered that this was the same woman who fought with her a few days back but could not recall her name.
