Chapter 1: Truck Kun ;)

<p>Hi, my name is Celine and I am dead, atleast as much as I remember. I had always wished to get pulled into a rom-com novel. In fact, this was the first thought that came to my mind when I was having a hard time. My life was not completely devastating or completely peaceful. Although my dad left my mom for another woman, my mom loved me and my brother. She did everything so that I'd never feel unloved. She worked multiple jobs just so she could give me anything I ask for. Thanks to her I was able to follow my dreams and started my own software company and to my surprise my software was an instant hit.<br/><br/>Everything was going well. I had a loving family. I loved spending my time with them. They were my everything but just like many other people in this world, I kept work as my first priority and ignored them. I focused on my career and without even realizing that I had changed. I didn't have many friends thanks to me being an extreme introvert and my trust issues. One day when I was returning from my work I met with an accident. The funniest part was I died the same way every isekai lead dies… TRUCK KUN!!!! "Damn I dreamt about this moment all my life but fuck it hurts like hell!!!'" Everything went hazy and my next memory was me on the way to the operation theatre. I opened my eyes and saw my family crying on the way… That morning I had a pretty bad fight with them and had even told them "I wish I'd never have to see you again". The doctor told them that I didn't have much chance of survival but they'd try their best and then my soul left my body. I regretted it. I regretted fighting with them. I regretted not paying attention. I regret not spending much time with them. I regret wasting my time on working my ass off when I didn't even get any credits.<br/><br/>I wish… I wish I was given a second chance to love them more… I wish… I wish…<br/><br/>"Ugh!! My head! NO WAY!!!<br/><br/>A middle aged couple runs in. The woman comes and hugs me tight and starts crying.<br/><br/>"Baby sob sob you're awake sob sob how are you feeling now?? DOCTOR!!! CALL THE DOCTOR RIGHT NOW!!! MY BABY IS AWAKE!!!"<br/><br/>"Calm down Ariel. Levi is awake now. Everything will be alright now. Never fall sick again my dear. Do you know how scared we were? What if something happened to you? Do you think papa and mama would be able to live?"<br/><br/>Suddenly I had a sharp pain in my head. Memories of Levi's past rushed into my head.<br/><br/>***<br/>Levi Lockhart, the youngest and the most loved daughter of Duke Edward Lockhart and duchess Ariel Lockhart. The Lockhart duchy was one of the only duchy in Egraitopia Kingdom. The Lockhart family was known for their business all around the Kingdom. Although the family is not much into swordsmanship and have been businessmen for over 100 years the family has contributed a lot towards the money flow into the kingdom and are one of the most powerful families in the Egraitopia kingdom.<br/><br/>Duke Edward, 33 years old. The lord of the Lockhart duchy, a man who is feared by all for his brutal ways of eliminating his competitors so that they may never come back. He took over the duchy when he was just 14 years old, overcoming all the difficulties and bringing the duchy to what it is today. When he was 19 he met my mom and the duchess who was 16 at a charity event and fell in love at first sight. After years of struggling to confess they finally got married after 2 years and had me and my brother.<br/><br/>Although the duke looks cold and doesn't speak much he loves his family more than anyone. The duchess who is like a ball of sunshine is a very intelligent woman who works with the duke hand in hand to manage the duchy and the business… and she is a likes her family a little too much 😅<br/>****<br/><br/>"Umm… mother? I can't breath ack"<br/><br/>"Oh my, sorry my baby 🥹 mother was just a little too happy to see you awake.." wiping her tears, loosens her grip and softly pulls her away and looks at her face.<br/><br/>"Hah my beautiful daughter *sigh*. OKAY let's all leave the room and prepare FOR A BANQUET CELEBRATING THE RECOVERY OF OUR DEAR LEVI!!!!!!!!!!!"<br/><br/>*Shocked Levi* isn't it a bit too much 😬they must really like Levi.. Now I am feeling a little guilty for taking over her body… They might get disappointed if they knew that their daughter Levi is no more and some random girl from another world stole her body 😟<br/><br/>Now that I think about it. What the hell happened to Levi? How did she die?? 🤔<br/>Ahh my head *memories of the incident rushes in* Oh..<br/><br/>The real Levi had always been an adventurous and rebellious tomboy. She wanted to try horse riding but her parents refused, worrying she might get injured so she snuck out and got on a horse without proper training and got into an accident… well i guess the parents worry did come true but instead of getting injured she died 😅<br/><br/>Few weeks later…<br/><br/>Ahh I have finally recovered *sigh* and now I can even go out although it did take me quite an effort to get rid of my parents. They kept crying and whining about me getting hurt thanks to that I had to stay in bed for an extra 2 weeks.<br/><br/>Now that I am finally out I must try and figure out this world.<br/>….<br/>…<br/>…<br/>caw caw caw…..<br/>BUT HOW THE HELL AM I GONNA FIGURE OUT ANY THING IN THIS GARDEN. Well calm down calm down something is better than nothing for now let's just observe people around.<br/><br/>Suddenly I hear a voice shouting at me and turn around to see a young boy shouting as he walks towards me "HEY YOU!! WHAT ARE YOU DOING OUT OF THE ROOM? Does mother and father know that you're outside. DON'T YOU DARE FALL SICK AGAIN… blah blah blah"<br/><br/>Oh right Levi has a twin brother this is Leon Lockhart he is the same age as me but has received the privilege of being the older child because he was born before me. He is taller than an average 9 year old (140 cm) and I am shorter than an average 9 year old (120 cm) 🥹Thanks to this I look way younger than what I actually am *sob sob* Leon is an excellent swordsman and is young.<br/><br/>Leon is a 2 faced monster he acts all prim and proper in public but is a little devil who loves troubling his sister. Leon was a son everyone would ask for. He was sweet, clever, kind and strong. It makes you wonder how someone can be so perfect? Well yes they can't be perfect because Leon had a "hobby" just like any other sibling and that was finding joy in bothering your sibling. Levi was a timid child who was very afraid of tiny creatures like bugs and insects. Leon used to present her bugs and insects just to see her reaction. He used to chase away her friends with threats and thanks to that Levi didn't have any friends but her nanny and maid.<br/><br/>Hmm… I must teach this pesky kid a lesson so that he won't bother me again 👿.<br/><br/>Leon the hold's Levi's hand and tugs her slightly towards the castle asking her to go back. Levi trips over and falls.<br/><br/>"OUCH"<br/><br/>Concerned Leon bends down to Levi to check on her "hey Levi.. you okay?? Tell me if it hurts don't hide it.. Show me your leg let me check"<br/><br/>Well probably this kid is not as bad as i thought he was. I'll let you off the hook for caring for me. He might actually love his sister. The memories I have are that of a little girl and her perspective. She might have misunderstood her brother. Let's see for now let's just let him be.<br/><br/>Leon then takes me back to my room and tucked me into the bed. He calls out for Martha, my maid and asks her not to let me out even if I beg her to. Martha has been my mind ever since I was born and loved me like her own child. Just like Leon, even she was worried about my health and agreed to him. Seeing them worried about me reminded me of my previous life in the modern world and how I could never receive this care and concern… and how I didn't treasure the care and concern I received. That's when I decided that I am going to treasure my new life and new family and am going to live my life to the fullest.</p>
