Waffles

"Good Morning my precious baby" said Natasha with a smile as she looked down at Joy who squirmed in her arms as she opened her eyes and she yawned as she rubbed her eyes.

"Good Morning mommy" said Joy cheerfully as she smiled at her mother.

"Mommy, why are you in my bed??" asked Joy as she looked around, it was morning, and her mother was in her bed??

"Why do you ask my baby??" asked Natasha.

"You don't want me to be in your bed??" asked Natasha as she smiled.

"No Mommy, I want you here, but you were not here yesterday when I fell asleep" said Joy as she giggled and she held her mother's hand and she placed Natasha's hand on her head.

"Well that is true my baby" said Natasha as she rubbed Joy's head which made her giggle.

"The truth is I just missed you in the night, and I came over here to give you a hug and sleep here with you" said Natasha as she laughed.

"Yayyy Mommy, I miss you too, stay in my bed every night" said Joy as she giggled.

"Oh my baby, you are so cute" said Natasha as she smiled as she looked at Joy, her baby was the most cheerful, and the cutest ever, whenever she got scared, Joy was always her strength.

"Good Morning my princess" said Dom as he walked into Joy's room with a smile, but the smile on his face dropped as soon as he saw Natasha.

"Good Morning Daddy" said Joy as she broke out of her mother's hold and she stood up on her bed and Dom smiled at her.

"Good Morning" said Dom as he looked at Natasha.

"Good Morning" said Natasha as she replied to him, but she did not look at him at all.

"My princess, how was your night??" asked Dom as he turned to look at Joy and he smiled at her.

"It was very good Daddy" said Joy as she smiled.

"And how was your night daddy??" asked Joy as she smiled.

"It was very good my princess, thank you for asking" said Dom as he kept his eyes on Natasha who was ignoring him, the truth was that he did not sleep well at all, he had stayed up all night thinking about the new information he had learnt about Natasha, he was extremely worried.

"Alright my baby, go and brush your teeth so you can eat breakfast alright??" asked Natasha as she looked at Joy and she smiled.

"Okay Mommy" said Joy as she smiled and she turned to jump down from her bed, but Natasha caught hold of her.

"Don't do that my baby, that is very dangerous" said Natasha.

"Your mother is right Joy, don't jump down from your bed, you can get hurt" said Dom.

"Okay mommy, okay daddy" said Joy as she nodded her head.

"Good girl" said Natasha as she smiled and she placed Joy down on the ground as Joy ran to the bathroom to brush her teeth.

"Natasha, I need to talk to you" said Dom as he walked to the other side of the bed so that Natasha would look at him.

"What is it??" asked Natasha.

"I would like to drop Joy off at school today, and pick her up again" said Dom, he knew he could not confront Natasha on what Charlie, Michael and Nine had told him, this was neither the place or the time, and she would not give him any chance to talk to her at all.

"Well alright then, you can go ahead" said Natasha as she did not refuse his offer at all, she had a lot to do today, and her day would be much more less full if Dom took Joy to school and back home.

"Well alright" said Dom as he did not expect her to agree to easily.

"My baby, come on let's get you ready for school, your father says he wants to take you to school" said Natasha as she smiled as Joy came out of the bathroom.

"Okay Mommy, are you coming with us??" asked Joy as she giggled.

"I am sorry my baby, but I cannot, I have to go somewhere very important today" said Natasha.

"Okay Mommy" said Joy as she nodded her head.

"My baby what do you want for breakfast??" asked Natasha.

"Tell me so I can tell Alfred" said Natasha as she smiled.

"Oooh I want waffles mommy" said Joy as she did not think for long and she spoke up as she jumped up and down.

"Waffles??" asked Natasha as she smiled.

"Mhmm yes mommy" said Joy as she nodded her head.

"Alright waffles it is my baby" said Natasha as she smiled and Dom smiled too.

"Well let me go and tell Alfred" said Natasha as she laughed and she stood up.

"No need, I can go and tell him" said Dom as he looked at Natasha.

"Alright then" said Natasha.

"Let's go my baby, it's time for your bath" said Natasha as she smiled and she held Joy's hand.

"Okay mommy" said Joy as she followed after Natasha as they walked into the bathroom, leaving Dom standing there.

"*Sigh*, Natasha… I have no idea what goes through your head… not anymore" said Dom to himself as he sighed and he left the room to go find Alfred.

"Your order Sir" came the voice of a woman who placed a cup of Coffee on the table, she seemed to be a waitress.

"Thank you" said Pete as he smiled at her as he drank the coffee and the woman smiled at him as she walked away.

"I wonder where she is??" asked Pete as he placed his coffee back on the table and he checked his phone.

He and Lia had decided on this café for them to meet and have their date, and well Pete had arrived on the time they had agreed on, and yet Lia was yet to be here, so Pete just placed his order as he waited for her, this had not been the first time his date had been late.

Pete just checked through his phone as the minutes went by, and it was not until about after 30 minutes later that the Café became full that he heard the bell at the entrance tinkle, and he saw a beautiful woman with brown hair and bangs with her hair tied in a bun, and she wore a red blouse with a sleeve that reached to her elbows with a black pencil skirt that reached to her knees.

The woman looked around the café, until she saw who she was looking for and she waved and smiled at him as she walked closer to him.

"Oh Good Morning, I am so sorry that I am late" said Lia as she laughed sheepishly as Pete stood up and pulled out her chair for her.

"Thank you" said Lia as she smiled and she sat down.

"It is alright, you can't help it at all" said Pete as he laughed and he sat back down.

"Oh I truly feel so bad for keeping you waiting, the traffic was really bad" said Lia as she laughed.

"It is no trouble at all" said Pete as he smiled.

"Oh where are my manners" said Lia as she laughed.

"My name is Cecilia Thomas, but my friends call me Lia" said Lia as she smiled and she brought her hand out for a handshake.

"Peter Lawson, but Nat calls me Pete" said Pete as he smiled and he shook her hand.

"Haha, then I guess that I will too" said Lia as she laughed as they broke their handshake.

"Well I can see that Natasha was right, you are very handsome" said Lia as she smiled.

"I take that as a good thing, and I can say the same for you… you are very pretty" said Pete as he smiled.

"Oh thank you" said Lia as she smiled.

"Oh please excuse me" said Lia as her phone rang and she looked through her red handbag.

"Go ahead" said Pete as he smiled.

"Hello, Lia here" said Lia as she answered the call.

"Good Morning" she said as she smiled.

"Oh… but I made sure to check through the software, there should be no bugs at all" said Lia as she frowned at what she was hearing and Pete was just watching her, until his own phone rang and he picked up his call.

"Speak to me" he said.

"Is that so?" asked Pete.

"Isn't Morales there??" asked Pete.

"Alright I am on my way" said Pete as he and Lia ended their calls at the same time.

"I need to leave" they both said at the same time as they both laughed.

"Oh I am sorry, one of my clients called, there is something wrong with a programme I developed, and I need to fix it" said Lia as she smiled.

"That is no worry at all, something came up at my office as well" said Pete as he smiled.

"Oh I feel so bad, first I arrive late, and now we both have to leave, I am so sorry, this is a bad first date" said Lia as she laughed.

"Don't worry about it, I have had worse, and yours if by far the most pleasant" said Pete as he smiled.

"Same here" said Lia as she smiled at him.

"We will have to make up for this later" said Lia as she smiled.

"Of course why not, I look forward to it" said Pete as he smiled.

"And so do I" said Lia as she smiled and she stood up.

"I have to go now, I am sorry once again" said Lia as she smiled.

"No problem," said Pete as he smiled as Lia smiled at him once more, before she walked away.

"Maybe Nat is right for once" said Pete to himself as he drank the rest of his coffee and he asked for the bill.
