Stop crying

"Alright Mrs. White, I have you details here" said the woman at the front desk as she looked at Natasha and she smiled.

"Who are you here to see?" asked the woman as she smiled.

"Mr. Cole" said Natasha as she smiled.

"Alright, Mr. Cole is in room 25, should I direct you there or do you know your way there??" asked the woman as she smiled.

"It's alright, I know my way there, thank you" said Natasha as she smiled.

"Alright Mrs. White" said the woman.

"Have a good day and enjoy your stay here" said the woman as she smiled.

"Thank you, and the same to you" said Natasha as she smiled at the woman and she walked away as she walked past the front desk and she turned to the left as she entered a hall with many rooms, some of the doors to the rooms where open, while some were not, she finally made her way to the end of the hall where there was a white door that was closed, and by the side of the door was the number 25.

Natasha took a deep breath as she exhaled as she took all her courage and she knocked on the door and she stepped back and waited for a reply.

"Come in" came the voice of a man from inside the room, and Natasha braced herself as she took a step forward and she opened the door of the room and she entered as she closed the door behind her.

Natasha smiled, she felt like crying she did not know if she could do this, but she was already here, and what was the point of her backing down now?

"Hi dad…" said Natasha as she smiled and she held her breath as the man who had his back turned to her as he stared out the window immediately turned to look at her.

"Natasha??" he asked in disbelief he could not believe his eyes.

"Is that you??" asked Larry as he rubbed his eyes, was that his daughter?? His beloved daughter?? She was here.

"Yes Dad it's me" said Natasha as she fought back her tears, she did not want to cry, but this was the first time she had seen her dad, she had died without seeing him, without telling him that she loved him, and she had left him all alone.

"Oh daddy, I missed you" said Natasha as she rushed to him and she bent down as she gave him a tight hug as tears dropped her eyes.

"I missed you too my Tasha" said Larry as he rubbed Natasha's back as he smiled.

"Stop crying my Tasha, why are you crying?" asked Larry as he smiled and he rubbed away Natasha's tears as she faced him.

"Dad I am so sorry, I am just so sorry, I let you down, I didn't listen to you, and I am just a failure of a daughter" said Natasha as she cried.

"Shush, shush, my Tasha you never let me down, and you will never be a failure to me, you are my daughter and I love you" said Larry as he smiled sweetly at Natasha, she would always and forever be his little girl.

"Oh daddy" said Natasha as she hugged her father once again, she just could not help but feel like a failure, she had been a bad daughter.

Larry and along with Pete were both against her marrying Dom, but she did not listen to any of them, and because she had known that her father was not happy with her marriage, when things got bad she had stopped seeing him, she felt guilty.

Oh how stupid she was, even till her last day in her past life, she had not seen her father in 10 years, she was such a bad daughter, and yet she could not help but cry in his arms as he comforted her.

"Dad please forgive me for not listening to you" said Natasha as she cried.

"My dear, I do not need to forgive you for anything, because you never for once offended me" said Larry as he smiled and Natasha sniffed, she was behaving like a little girl that needed coaxing but she did not care at all.

"So please stand up and stop crying" said Larry and Natasha stood up.

"Okay dad" said Natasha as she sniffed and she dried her tears as Larry smiled at her, oh how he wished he could stand up and hug his little girl, but he could not, he was sitting in a wheelchair.

"Let's go and sit down, shall we my dear?" asked Larry as he smiled and Natasha nodded her head as she walked behind him and she pushed his wheelchair to the other side of the room where there was a couch, and Natasha sat on the couch as she faced her father.

He had had an accident a few years back as he was driving, and the accident had caused him to loose the use and feeling of his two legs, so he had been confined to a wheelchair ever since then, that was one of the reasons that he was taken to this retirement home, well because he needed to be taken care of and Natasha could not have done that, she was young, and she had her life ahead of her at that time.

"Oh dad, I am sorry, I did not listen to you when you told me not to marry Dom" said Natasha as she stopped crying, but she looked very sad and miserable.

"Oh my Tasha, as a parent, I can only do so much" said Larry.

"You have your own life to live, and your own choices to make, my only job is to guide you, and it is up to you to decide if you want to take my advice or not" said Larry as he smiled.

"Oh Dad, I am sorry, you were right" said Natasha.

"My dear, I do not love you any less, sometimes you need to make your own mistakes to learn" said Larry as he smiled and the wrinkles on his face appeared, all his hair had turned completely white.

"Oh Dad" said Natasha as she sighed.

"Is everything alright Tasha? Are you doing okay? Is he treating you well?" asked Larry, because if he was not, he was going to deal with that man called Dominic.

"Dad, he treats me fine, and I am fine, I just don't… I feel regret right now" said Natasha as she sighed and she spoke the truth of what was bothering her, it was regret, for the future she was in and the past she could remember, to think that her life was turned upside down because of one mistake she made really hurt her.

"Regret is an unavoidable feeling we will always have in our lives" said Larry as he smiled.

"What counts is that you learn from your mistakes, and you look towards doing better in the future" said Larry as he smiled and Natasha smiled at him.

"My Tasha, I am sure that there is something that makes you happy in the midst of these regrets" said Larry as he smiled.

"Yes Dad, you are right" said Natasha as she sniffed.

"It's my daughter Joy, I cannot imagine my life without her, she is my top priority" said Natasha as she smiled.

"That is good my Tasha, and that is how it should be" said Larry as he smiled, he had heard that his granddaughter was a total bundle of Joy.

"Dad I am going to bring her to see you soon, I am sure she will be happy to meet you" said Natasha as she laughed.

"Oh I do look forward to that my dear, the last time I saw her, she was just a tiny, little baby" said Larry as he smiled, he still could not believe that he was a grandfather.

"Haha Dad, she is a very big, cute baby right now, and she talks a lot now since she had started going to school" said Natasha as she smiled.

"Oh my Tasha, I can just imagine" said Larry as he smiled, he liked the shine in Natasha's eye when she spoke about Joy, he was glad that there was something that made her happy.

"And how is Ernest?" asked Larry as he smiled.

"Ugh, he called you didn't he dad?" asked Natasha as she scoffed.

"Well he was worried, he told me that you were angry with him and not speaking with him" said Larry as he smiled.

"Well yes, that is true, and I have my reasons, you know how controlling he can be, always wanting things to be done his own way" said Natasha as she sighed and she shook her head.

"But you know that he has always cared for you" said Larry as he smiled.

"Dad, I don't want to talk about him at all, I only want to speak to you, and spend time with you" said Natasha as she smiled.

"Alright then my Tasha" said Larry as he smiled.
