Natasha looked out the window when Romanoff's car stopped in front of a large gate, and the gate opened as Natasha was taken aback by what she saw.
"Where are we?" asked Natasha as she turned to look at Romanoff as he entered through the gate with his car.
"My house" replied Romanoff as he parked in front of the front porch as the gate closed behind him on it's own.
"Come on, devochka (Girl)" said Romanoff as he stopped his car and he got out of the car as Natasha removed her seatbelt and she got out of the car.
"This is your house?" asked Natasha in disbelief.
"Lavish, I know, but you only live once don't you?" asked Romanoff as he turned to look at Natasha and she smiled and she shook her head, she could not believe that Romanoff would call this a house, it was a mansion, and a very beautiful one at that.
It had many windows, several of them, and since the sun had already set, the lights were all on, and they could be seen from each of the windows.
This looked more like a luxurious hotel rather than a house, in which Romanoff would live in.
"Come on, except you want to stay out here in the cold?" asked Romanoff as Natasha shook her head and Romanoff walked to the front door as he opened it and he walked into the house as Natasha followed after him and she closed the door behind her as she followed him into another room on the left.
The inside was even more beautiful than the outside, she did not know that Romanoff had such fine taste, everything in here looked very expensive to Natasha.
"Make yourself at home devochka (girl), I will be right back" said Romanoff as he toom off his coat and he hung it on the coat rack as Natasha sat down on the red couch and Romanoff walked out of the room.
He came back a few minutes later with a plate of cake in his hand and along with a fork as he handed it to Natasha and he sat down on the red armchair right across her.
"What is it devochka (girl)?" asked Romanoff as he could sense Natasha had something on her mind.
"I still can't believe that you own this place?" said Natasha in disbelief.
"Well I do, so believe it" replied Romanoff.
"You call this a house?" asked Natasha.
"Well I live in it don't I?" replied Romanoff as Natasha paused.
"You live here alone?" asked Natasha.
"It is me, I, and myself, like you Americans like to say" said Romanoff as he smiled, he could tell that Natasha still had many questions.
"Eat your cake devochka (girl)" said Romanoff as Natasha took that as just shut up and stop asking questions, so she used her fork and ate her cake.
"How is the cake devochka (girl)?" asked Romanoff.
"It's good" replied Natasha.
"Yes, Marissa and her mother make the best cakes" said Romanoff as he smiled and Natasha just nodded her head as she laughed.
"What is so funny?" asked Romanoff.
"Well my baby can see the future" said Natasha as she laughed.
"Your baby?" asked Romanoff in confusion as Natasha nodded her head.
"Yes, she told me to eat lots of cake, and well, I did not expect to actually have cake today" said Natasha as she laughed.
"You mean your Lover?" asked Romanoff.
"No, my daughter" said Natasha.
"You have a daughter?" asked Romanoff in disbelief.
"Yes, I do" said Natasha as she nodded her head.
"You don't know that?" asked Natasha in confusion as she found that hard to believe, she was sure that Romanoff knew this.
"No, I did not know that" said Romanoff as the surprised look on his face vanished.
"But you have been watching me for a long time, you have to know that don't you?" asked Natasha.
"Well devochka (girl), I did say that I kept my distance, I only checked in on your from time to time, when you had a daughter, I did not know" replied Romanoff simply.
"Hmm" said Natasha as she found this hard to believe.
"How old Is she?" asked Romanoff.
"She's five, and she's an angel" said Natasha as she smiled and she brought out her phone as she showed Romanoff a picture of Joy.
"She does not look like you at all" said Romanoff.
"Well, she doesn't, I think that she looks more like her father, she has his hair colour, and his smile, his nose" replied Natasha as she looked at the picture of Joy with a smile.
"I think she has my eyes, and my ears, I see the resemblance a bit" said Natasha as she smiled.
"What's her name?" asked Romanoff.
"Joy" replied Natasha with a smile as she put her phone away.
"You are a young mother" said Romanoff.
"It's a long story, one that I don't want to tell" said Natasha as Romanoff could sense that this was a delicate topic for her.
"Does the father take responsibility for the child?" asked Romanoff.
"He does, very much so, he is a good father, but a horrible partner" said Natasha.
"Hmm" said Romanoff as he stood up and he walked out of the room as he came back with a mug.
"Vodka?" asked Natasha as she looked at him.
"Not all Russians are drunkards devochka (girl), it's water" replied Romanoff as he looked at Natasha.
"Ahh…" said Natasha as at least that stereotype was cleared up.
Romanoff walked to a nearby record player as he chose a record from the pile, and he started to play it as he walked back down to his seat.

"Classical music?" asked Natasha as the record began to play.
"It Is better than all those secular songs going around, hip hop, rap, pop, you children on these days love such, when we have classics like this" said Romanoff as the music played and Natasha laughed.
"Wait, just how old are you?" asked Natasha as she laughed, she never took Romanoff for someone who would like classical music, he struck her as rough and rugged, but it seemed that he was far more than that.
"Let's see, Ivanka was three years younger than your father, and I am four years older than your father" said Romanoff as he gave Natasha a math riddle.
"You are 63??" asked Natasha in surprise as Romanoff just nodded and he took a sip of his water.
"You don't look 63" said Natasha as she could not believe it, he was wayyy older than her father.
"I take good care of myself, I know, I am still as handsome as ever" said Romanoff as Natasha rolled her eyes.
"You dye your hair right?" asked Natasha.
"No, I am blessed with strong genes, just like how Russia is blessed with wonderful composers" said Romanoff as he spoke about the music and Natasha just looked at him, Romanoff was… weird, he was so different from who she thought that he was.
Silence reigned in their midst for a while, as Romanoff finished his cup of water and the record stopped playing as he started it again and he removed his gun from his pocket and he put it on the table beside Natasha as she looked at it in fascination.
"A Tokarev the TT-30" said Romanoff.
"They don't make guns like this anymore" said Natasha.
"Yes, they don't" said Romanoff.
"My father… he was a soldier… he used that gun, and left it to me, It Is my most valued possession, I got it tweaked a bit, and now it handles very smoothly" said Romanoff.
"You have a license for it?" asked Natasha.
"I do, of course I do, that baby, has gotten me through some tight situations" said Romanoff.
"Hmm, I can imagine" said Natasha as Romanoff smiled, it felt good to talk to someone for once.
Natasha was in her own thoughts, she did not know why, but to her, it seemed that Romanoff was lonely, he was very different from who she imagined him to be.
"What are you thinking about devochka (girl)?" asked Romanoff as he snapped Natasha out of her thoughts.
"Igor is the one who killed my Father right?" asked Natasha as she smiled and Romanoff was taken aback, of course, that bastard met with her, that was the only way that she would know.
"I take your silence as a yes" said Natasha with a smile.
"Devochka (girl), if the answer truly is yes, what will knowing that do?" asked Romanoff as he looked at her.
"Give me closure, for me to know who my enemy is, for me to know who to blame" said Natasha as Romanoff kept quiet.
"Tell me Romanoff, why are you protecting Igor?" asked Natasha.
"Look devochka (girl), I am not protecting him, I am protecting you, there are dangerous men that you should not play with and Igor is one of them" said Romanoff as Natasha did not buy his explanation one bit.
"Hmm" said Natasha.
"Tell me, what do you want to do with this information that you found out, I advise you not to confront Igor" said Romanoff.
"I am not stupid, and I won't do that" said Natasha.
"So what are you going to do then?" asked Romanoff.
"Nothing" replied Natasha with a smile as Romanoff did not believe her at all, he knew that she was up to something, something that would put her in danger.
"Don't put yourself in danger" said Romanoff.
"I won't, I can protect myself" said Natasha as Romanoff sighed, she was so stubborn, very stubborn, just like Ivanka.
