"What are you doing?" the horror was plain in my eyes and the glaring stare I had toward her was spiking and I could feel it.
Jessie lurk eyes with me with a smile as if she was trying to play it all as a joke where in fact, I didn't see it as one.
"He had a gum glued to his hair and after fumbling with it for a while and was unable to get it out, I saw that this was the only solution to get it out," she explained with a nervous smile while she was staying still with the scissors still in her hands.
I walked closer to her, not with a single smile on my lips.
"Gum?" I asked as I got close to her, looking down at Alex and back at her face. Not only was I surprised at her act but as well as her excuse because not for once have I ever seen Alex chew a gum.
"Yes. This," she said, standing straight to face me with her palm stretched out with my son's hair meshed with a gum. I looked surprised because this was in fact new to me.
