February 7, 2021: Overrun

Oliver didn't pay any more heed to the reactions of Konrad and his personal guards. 

No, those words were hardly accurate. 

In truth, he didn't have the need to look at them to know what expressions they were making. He already had an inkling. Well, even if he did decide to allow himself to glance for a short window, he would only see their faces brimming with impassivity. It would be a millisecond too late by that time. 

The turn of events was a Godsend to the hardworking man. With that in mind, Oliver was glad to put all of his attention to another task rather than wasting time in trying to convince the most stubborn people that he had ever met in his life. His face even appeared as if it lightened up, earning the curious gazes of some of the nearby guards. 

The man-in-charge cleared his throat as he straightened his back. He then struck his palms together thrice to get the attention of the others, speaking thereafter.
