Now that they were at a comfortable level of speaking, Syn felt that she was successful in the most trifling part of her goals.
Nevertheless, she also wanted to appreciate the actuality that she just made a friend of the same age. There were a lot of people who she could consider as her friend, but they're more of parental figures for her. Two of them were Mina Lohnmeyer and Emir Morrel, her uncle.
Syn might consider that it would be selfish of her, but she wanted to experience the sincerity of friendship. Hence, she would fulfil that desire as she worked towards reaching her ambitions.
'It seems that I'm getting greedy. Sir Konrad is pampering me too much.' Syn thought, her glee manifesting on her smile.
"Hmm, it's about the Pitch for the Business Week. You know about that contest, right?"
"Well, I know about it. But I don't want to have anything to do with it while I'm studying. Once I graduate, I will be taking over our business anyway."
