“Kyle Ross Lee.”

“Yeah?”

Kyle was surprised at how breathy he sounded, but he didn’t give it a second thought. He was more focused on Clement, who seemed strangely nervous.

“It was love at first sight when I met you. I…I didn’t expect to fall harder and deeper in love with you with every passing day, but it happened.”

“Clement—”

“Baby, wait. Let me…let me finish.”

Kyle nodded. “Sure.”

“I…I love you. I’m madly in love with you. Every moment with you is like a magical dream. I love it when I can go to bed with you. Your beautiful face is the last thing I see before I fall asleep, and it’s the first thing that greets me when I wake up in the morning. I don’t…don’t want to live the rest of my life without you by my side.”

Kyle’s lips felt dry as he stared at Clement in anticipation. Even his heartbeat grew much faster and more erratic. He could now detect the trembling in Clement’s hands.

“What…what are you trying to say?”
