Anime Club

Penny burst through the door and smiled happily. "Everyone!~ We got a new member of the club!~"

I looked at the people who were attending. The club was full of incredibly hot women. There was only one male in the club, and it was me. They looked at me then smirked.

"Well well...~ If it isn't the famous transfer student Ryder King..~" One woman said in a tired manner.

The woman had long snow white hair, gray eyes, and a gentle, yet tired smile. She had a lithe body with a set of medium breasts. Her smile toward me seemed like she knew me. Off first glance I felt like I knew her as well. She wore a white and black sailor outfit with black leggings and long brown boots.

"Finally a new member and a guy for a change." Another woman said with a sweet smile.

The woman seemed like she was of Chinese descent. She had long brown hair styled in two pigtails. She had brown eyes and seemed a bit shy, yet friendly. She had a slender, yet curvy body with medium breasts as well. She wore a white button up shirt with blue jeans and black shoes. She was working on a project on a desk.

"A guy..?" The red hair girl said and looked at me. She crossed her arms and studied my being. She caught my nice aroma and blushed a bit. "He smells like The Boss."

The red hair girl, who was skeptical of me, had long hair hair styled in a low ponytail. She wore a white t shirt with a cute logo on the front that was tucked into her black skirt with gold buttons. She had beautiful pink eyes, which were contacts and a bit of a tsundere attitude. She had a very nice body along with her large breasts.

"Ryder, meet Melody. Our club leader~" Penny smiled.

Melody stood up straight and had a smug smile on her face. She flipped her red hair and looked at me. "That's right, 'Ryder'!" She said, saying my name in a bit of a condescending manner.

"It's nice to meet you, Melody." I said with a bit of a husked voice.

Melody heard my voice and her heart skipped a few beats. "M-Mmph! How dare you try to seduce me with your charming voice! And why do you smell like The Boss you animal..!"

Penny pushed Melody inside the club room and dragged me inside, closing the door. "Okay! You speak too loudly! You'll blow his cover!"

"If I may..~" The white haired woman said then walked forward. She smiled at me then walked toward me. "You might not remember me, or you might not want to remember me. My name is Dawn Williams..~"

After hearing her name, I gave a slight chuckle and moved my hair from my face. "I remember you. You're my ex-girlfriend from high school..~"

Penny, Melody, and the third woman looked surprised.

Penny grabbed my arm and looked at me with confusion. "You never told me you had an ex!"

"That's because we ended off on such a bad note, I didn't want to be reminded of her. To see her here...brings very bad memories." I said.

The third woman hurried from the desk to break the tension between me and Dawn. "H-Hello Ryder! I'm Tao Sun!"

I smirked and chuckled a bit. "Don't worry Tao. There's not going to be much tension here. I think I understand this club a lot. You're all Paid Relationship women aren't you?"

Dawn smirked and crossed her arms. "Nothing escapes you huh. You're still the same smartass I still know and love."

"H-How did you know?" Melody asked.

"W-We are, but there's no way you could've figured that." Tao Sun timidly said.

I crossed my arms and closed my eyes. "You three are insanely beautiful like Penny here. You three are on the same level as people like Jade and Allie in terms of beautifulness. There's no way you three couldn't be Paid Relationship women."

"So what? Planning to rent us out?" Melody said in a snappy tone.

I shrugged. "I can't."

Dawn raised an eyebrow. "Why not?"

Penny was also confused. "Why can't you rent anyone out? You are on good terms with The Boss right?"

I nodded. "Correct."

"How can YOU of all people be so close to The Boss?" Melody asked.

I opened my left eye and scanned their auras. Their auras were energized and orange meaning they were confused and/or shocked. I closed my left eye and just smirked.

"So? Are you going to answer us?" Melody asked.

"It's because I am the Top Agent." I said.

Everyone in the room was stunned to hear that news. I quickly calmed everyone down by raising my hand.

"It isn't much of a secret anymore since I was just seen with The Boss. I mean most of the campus knows now. Although I can't 'rent' anyone out, I can still buy anyone out." I said and shrugged my shoulders.

"How can you be so nonchalant about this? Being Top Agent means you're one of the most targeted people by the Black Market." Dawn said.

"I know." I said.

Talenta watched as she sat on top of my head, still unnoticeable by other people. She tilted her head. "She knows about the Black Market?"

"I knew it.." Penny said and smiled. "I knew when Jazlynn came back...I noticed how hurt you seemed despite your smile. You were the one who saved her with the Agents..."

Tao Sun watched the chaotic scene then cleared her throat cutely. Everyone looked at her. "H-How about we get Ryder comfortable before we jump him and bombard him with questions."

"R-Right...although I don't like the idea of being in the same room with a man who's...this hot and more smug than me. As Club Leader I shall accept any new member." Melody said.

"I noticed you had a sign saying no boys allowed, so I can only assume you are against us males?" I said.

Melody nodded quickly. "In my experience, I've met nothing but the most...vile men on the planet. Being a rental girlfriend is not easy in the slightest."

"And yet you'll accept me." I said as I looked at Melody.

Melody's left eye twitched from annoyance then she went for an attack, but I caught her hand nearly instantly. She went for a kick, but I caught her leg then pushed her on the floor. I looked down at her and smirked.

"Nice try, but you can't beat my immediate instincts." I said.

I could tell Melody hated losing because she got up and tried to attack me again. I dodged her first strike then parried her second. She was pretty skilled at fighting...nearly like she was an agent in training. I let Melody hit me and she noticed it did nothing to me. I grabbed her wrist then spun her around then wrapped my arms around her waist.

"Your attempts at fighting me are very cute.." I whispered in her ear. "But it isn't enough.."

I gently pushed Melody forward and she stumbled ahead. Dawn, Penny, and Tao Sun were impressed by my combat abilities.

"Melody is literally close to being a black belt and you just defended her attacks off with ease!" Penny said in shock.

Dawn smiled and walked toward me then placed her hands on my shoulders. "Maybe I was wrong to judge you too quickly back then..~"

"You think? The moment someone better showed up, you left me just like that. Now there can't be a man better than me." I said then leaned forward to whisper in her ear. "And I'll have you crawling back to me..~"

Dawn slightly closed her legs and blushed. Penny noticed and got jealous quickly then separated us. She hugged my arm and looked at Dawn.

I chuckled and looked at Dawn then at Penny. "The game is first come, first serve. If you want me, you'll have to get to me first..~"

"Wow, you actually have women fighting for your attention. From Penny all the way to Charlotte. You really are a walking Casanova like him...Impressive." Talenta smiled.

"Come on Penny, there's no need to get jealous. He'll eventually buy us all out." Dawn crossed her arms.

"Hmph!" Penny stuck her nose up.

Everything had finally calmed down since my first appearance. I sat at a desk and continued to catch up on my work. I could sense someone staring at me and when I turned my head, Melody turned her head. I turned my attention back at my work then Melody began to stare at me once again.

"Melody." I said.

"What?!" She barked.

Penny and Dawn looked at us then smiled at each other and giggled. They knew Melody was most curious about me.

"Staring at me won't make me come over to you. You'll have to come over to me." I said as I continued to work on my assignments.

Melody groaned and stood up from her desk then walked over to me and sat down next to me. She tilted her head and noticed I was completely guessing on my work and getting them right. "Nah, how the hell are you doing that?"

"This shit's easy." I said then took the lollipop from my mouth.

"This is AP Calculus! There's no way!" Melody said in shock and a bit jealous of my intelligence. "Not even Dawn is able to do this shit this easy."

"How are you not able to do this?" I asked.

"What do you mean? I can definitely do the work, I'm talking about COMPLETELY GUESSING AND GETTING IT RIGHT!" Melody barked.

"Goddamn, can you not yell in my ear. Save it for the bedroom." I said.

Melody's face became completely red then she stood up quickly. "You icky! Perverted! Nonchalant! Boy!"

I closed my laptop and looked at Melody. "And yet, I can tell you like it."

Melody became even more flustered then she hurried away and sat back her desk and turned on some anime that she could watch to completely forget about me.

I laughed softly then stood up. I looked at the time and sighed. "It's already 2 in the afternoon. Time really did fly by.."

Tao Sun watched me and smiled. "It really did. I've never seen the club so lively before. Your addition really brought up the morale."

"I did nothing special in all honesty." I said.

"Aww boo! No one likes an overly modest man. You've had Melody blushing the moment you walked in." Dawn giggled. "Seeing you again is a treat. How we've never cross paths is beyond me."

I shrugged and looked at Melody. "She makes herself flustered. I only say what I know will get her riled up when she bothers me."

"Shut up! You damn idiot..." Melody groaned.

"Well I'm gonna head out. My car is still at HQ, so Charlotte's going to be picking me up." I said then gathered my things.

"Okay! Bye bye!~ I love you!~" Penny said and waved at me.

"I love you too, Pen." I smiled at her then waved to the others.

I left the classroom then made my way out the main building and decided to check out the gym since I haven't been there in a week. I walked in the gym and noticed Caroline crossing someone up and the people in the gym were cheering.

Coach Caroline bounced the ball between the woman's legs then got it back and jumped up for the lay up. The crowd cheered and chanted Coach Caroline's name.

I walked over to Coach Mark and he noticed me.

"Ahh, the Ghost of Oceanview finally returns.." Mark chuckled with his arms crossed.

"What's going on?" I asked.

"A game of King of the Court. They need one more player. If you're willing." Mark smirked.

I looked at the time on my phone and realized Charlotte won't be here for another ten minutes. I set my bag down and smirked. "I'm willing to give it another try."

"Go get 'em, Superstar." Mark said.

Caroline noticed me and waved. "Hey, Ryder! You wanna take a chance on this? I'm up six!"

I smiled and walked onto the court. Allie and Jade noticed me and were a bit surprised that I was gambling with fire against Caroline.

"Things aren't going to be the same as last time." I smiled.

Caroline passed me the ball and smiled. She raised the legs of her shorts a bit and watched as I checked the ball back. "Oh yeah?~"

She began to dribble the ball left and right quickly. She stared directly into my eyes, distracting me then bounced the ball between my legs, but I closed my legs, trapping the ball between my feet. The entire court was surprised that I countered Caroline.

Caroline stumbled forward and caught herself. She looked back at me and was astonished. "You've been practicing."

I picked up the ball and dribbled it behind the three point line then turned around to Caroline. "You can say that."

Mark watched me very closely and had a smile on his face like a proud father. 'Hm...His attitude is a lot different from before. He's...happier and more upbeat. His instincts are heightened.'

I drove the ball forward while watching her movements. I went for a swift crossover, but she stole the ball back and caught me off guard. 'What..?'

"Oh yeeeaaah, one thing about Caroline Angels here is she played for one of the best basketball teams to exist in America maybe like thirteen years ago. She was known as the Empress of the Court. She's went undefeated and one of the best in history. Her legacy isn't on par with the Hall of Fame stars like Kobe, Lebron, and Jordan, but she did make it to the Hall of Fame. Athletics is her best Talent. Your body will evolve just by playing." Talenta said.

Caroline dribbled the ball forward and smiled at me.

'That doesn't explain how she caught up with my instincts.' I thought to Talenta.

"That's because she has Speed Perception. No matter how fast you move, she can react as fast as you can react. She's the very definition of Locked. In." Talenta said.

Caroline drove the ball forward and noticed I was playing my best defense, but she was completely concentrated with a smirk on her face. I began to lock in as well, but not too much to awaken my Alter Ego. I tried to steal the ball but she crossed me, making me slip, but I caught myself and pivoted to block her lay up. Caroline was shocked and lost her aerial balance. I dropped the ball then hurried to catch her. I caught her and she looked at me in awe of my real speed.

The gym was in awe of my speed, but Mark was completely not fazed. He smirked and placed his hands in his pockets.

'It was almost an instant reflex. In normal terms, she would've hit the floor...but he caught her in a matter of seconds. Shiro was also capable of that kind of speed last time I remember..' Mark thought to himself.

I set Caroline down. "You okay?"

Caroline nodded and her violet eyes shimmered with amazement. "YOU MOVE SO FAST! How did you do it?! Only one person was this fast and it was Shiro!"

I smiled at her and placed my hands in my pockets. "Well I've been training the last week to beat you, so my speed is noticably faster...but you're still better than me."

Caroline was excitedly asking me questions and even asked me questions about Shiro. I happily answered her questions, but our conversation was interrupted by a call from Charlotte telling me she was in the lot ready to pick me up.

I ended our conversation and went over to Mark and picked up my things. I felt his pat on my back and looked at him.

"I know you were letting her win. My wife has a big ego when it comes to sports like her sister. Thank you for letting her win." Mark smiled.

I smiled back at him. I looked back at Caroline and smiled. "She's very talented. I wasn't really letting her win, but...she's just better than me. I can accept that.."

Mark chuckled softly and crossed his arms. We said our goodbyes and I hurried to Charlotte's car.

"Mark Angels. A guy that used to be pretty close to Shiro. His wife Caroline is no stranger to beyond human level feats like speed, reflex, and athleticism. She's a prominent woman. I respect her." Charlotte smiled as she drove to HQ.

"Also wanted to ask you about Melody. She tried to fight me when I met her and her skills are pretty great." I said.

"Melody Hana. Melody is being trained by Wendy in the event something happens to her, we won't be down in power just in case you're not available. She stops by our Dojo daily so you might be able to meet her sometime today." Charlotte answered and stopped her car at HQ. "Stop by later. I wanna talk to you about some important business."

I nodded. "Gotcha."

Charlotte leaned over to me the kissed my lips, and I kissed back. "See you soon, my beloved."

"Definitely." I chuckled softly and got out of her car to go to my own.

I thought about the three women I met. Dawn, Melody, and Tao Sun. All three had some powerful untapped aura minus Dawn and Tao Sun. Their auras were only so active because of their curiosity and excitement over seeing me. I was really curious about Melody, however. She intrigued me the most so I had to figure as much as I could about her.
