"I can see you are doing well, Charles," Marcus said, taking a cold look at him. He knows the boy was a close friend to Lim and anyone who is a friend of Lim is an enemy to him. 

"I am fine, Mr Marcus, as you can see" Charles replied with a stern smile. Marcus nods and gestures to his family to start going. Even though Charles is considered a best friend to Lim, he still considers him a little more respectful than Lim who calls him by his name ' Marcus!'That boy had no respect. Without no more words, Marcus and his family moved further when the journalists rushed to them since they were one of the important people of the party. Marcus did not bother to ask about Lim, because he knew he would never come to his father's party, not even once in his life.

Charles smiled devilishly, " fools!" He cursed inwardly. They must think Lim would never make it, but unknown to them, the devil was bringing a big shocking surprise along. 

"Shall we?" Charles said to Lilah and clenched her waist tightly in the presence of his mother, who blushed at what she saw.

The party was invited of people of high class, those who rules in wealth and power. Since the powerful alite in the city is celebrating his birthday, no one wants to be left out. Coming to the party, it would make they be known or even growing their popularity in the society and also get a chance to work with the devil, since a news was break out to them that he might come. That leaves everyone curious and long to see him while others came to the party with different options to make their daughters know to the devil since Lim Walter is still single. Both the two powerful families, the Smiths and the Williams wasn't let out. As everyone seem presence even enemies too.

Inside the banquet hall, family and friends were crowded around a long table stuffed with food. The sound of people laughing, knife and forks clattering and children whooping evoked around the vaulted ceiling. The smell of gravy and roasted chicken, Yorkshire pudding and cranberry sauce wafted past them.

"I want you to keep a close eyes on the devil servant, I can't trust him with my daughter" Mr Williams whispered to Mr Robin who seated beside him.

"Alright boss" Mr Robin replied, while looking at the direction of Charles and Lilah.

Just that moment, a slender figure walked in, she was dressed in a white pretty feathers gown that glue to her skin like a spaghetti straps. She just like a prettiest flower in the garden that every man would died to pluck. Immediately she stepped in, all eyes turned to view her which make her blush.

After the hours she'd spend in dressing up. Put on her prettiest white gown and most expensive make-up, she deserves the attention. She smiled when her eyes caught the old man sitting on the head of the table, was Old Walter. He was larger than life, laughing and drinking with everyone who would talk to him. Tiana thought, if she wants to be the daughter in-law of the Walter family, the first person to please was the head.

Under the dazing eyes, she catwalks her step like the true professional she is to Old Walter.

"Happy birthday Mr Walter!" She exclaimed excitedly, and had the old man turn to her.

"Tiana Brenton? You came?" Old Walter asked happily. He had invited lot of people to the party and did know if he probably invite Tiana too. But since she was here, it isn't bad, beside the girl a popular model in the city.

"Yes, Mr Walter"

Old Walter stood up and hugged her. " You're welcome my dear" he said and patted her softly on the back.

"Please feel free to have anything you want!" Old Walter required before releasing Tiana to have her seat on the table..

"You are Tiana Brenton right?" Cindy shouted at the left side of the table. She had heard of the Tiana and how famous she was . Since she was invited to the party and the same time Old Walter was please with her, give her an idea to get Tiana hook with her son!

"Yes" Tiana said, she was even surprised that one of the family members known her.

At least, she feel comfortable around. "You are extremely beautiful" Cindy praised and the other family wives looked at her weirdly. What the cat up to this time. Because they know she did not praise someone without a reason.

"What do you think the witch is up to?" Sophia whisper to the ear of Stella who was never interested in the family drama. " What do you think? " She asked back which made Sophia roll her eyes.

Old Walter who have enjoyed himself laughing and drinking with friends, darted his eyes around it didn't see someone he was expecting.

His brow furrowed and shouted over to Aunty B,

"Bianca, where's Lim?"

He knew the only person Lim might talk to is Bianca as he seem her as a mother. " Traffic, we think. I can calll him and tell him to hurry if you want! " Shouted Aunty B.

" Exactly Dad, don't worry, Lim would definitely come as he promised" said Henry , her husband.

Thomas snorted, " Oh please forget about that. We all know the boy would never come. Maybe he ahev a business trip that seen more important to him than coming to his father birthday" Thomas snapped. He have had enough of the discussion about the boy. Even in his father birthday party, he still talks about Lim when they should be celebrating! 

" Thomas, I think Lim would come. There is no need to be rude. Besides, this dad birthday party" Brent said who trying to play good sight in front of his father. 

"Good, good, let drink and have fun! I believe my son is coming!"

Then, a cold wind blown that shrivers everyone down to the spine. The devil that all are curious of meeting is coming!
