Right now, Kenny was in a desperate situation where he wished his wife could just open her eyes and call his name. "Mona," he was on top of her body. What could a soulless body do? She was just breathing and that desperation made him mad at her and himself.
"Our daughter is a year old already, why aren't you back to me? To us? Do you like your stay away from us? If you are dead then stop breathing, let me know that I don't have you anymore. Every day I come to you with hopes but now it just feels as if...you don't exist anymore. Why now?" He frustratedly pushed away from her and began to cry.
"Today reminded me of last year when you were just sitting with me and then you were ready. I kissed you, Mona, and you told me that you'll come back to me. I've been waiting for you, you know. I waited and I was patient. A year without you was so hard. Why are you punishing me further? Come back to me please," he took her hand and sobbed as much as he wanted.
