#THIRD POV#

"GET BACK HERE," Says a man chasing a child running into the woods While he is being chased he is laughing and having the time of his life

He moves through the trees with practiced ease

"Can't catch me," Says the child before slamming into a rock and making a child size hole in it

"Caught you now," said the man after chasing the child for over an hour grabbing the child by the arm and looking at him in the face

"Come on Dad, I am pretty sure it was the rock that caught me," says the child

The man sighs softly "Tomorrow is your first day of school, you have to go get ready for it," said the man while the child pouted "Why Dad? I am already able to read and write, and I have begun to understand middle school math, why do I have to go to school," complained the child to his father "

You are just 5 years old, you have to go to school," says the gruff man in a tired voice

"Cmon Clark," says the Man while leaning down to brush some dirt off his son's clothes

"Clark, aren't you forgetting something?" Reminded the child's father to his son pointing to the child's imprint on the stone

"Oh, right," says Clark while putting his arms up as if he was going to be boxing

He punches the imprint multiple times to break the stone to keep his powers a secret Half an hour later they both are at an elementary school

"Hey, Dad isn't this where..." Begins Clark before being cut off by his Father

"Yes, cmon," says his Dad while getting closer to the main entrance

"Hello, may I please have your name," says a lady at the front entrance

"Hi, my name is James Howlett, nice to meet you, and I am here to drop off my son," says the child's father now revealed to be James Howlett

"Introduce yourself now," demands James to his son

"Hello, my name is Clark Howlett nice to meet you," says Clark

"Clark Howlett, oh here we go this is his class," says the attendant while a woman comes to take Clark to his class

BORING

This is what I think when I hear the teacher talking about the alphabet

This is so boring I close my eyes for a bit and try to hear my dad's heartbeat like I learned a few weeks ago when my ears began to hurt

Dad helped me through it and he taught me how to do this although, he was surprised that I could hear him from so far away he said it was amazing, this way if I was ever in trouble I would be able to find him and go to him

Although, it gets harder if there are more walls or something blocking his heartbeat

I look around the school and see that this is going to be boring again

I notice someone in another room teaching and I resist a smile

It's that nice lady that my dad has a nice crush on

I hold back a sigh as I force myself to pay attention to the teacher even if I already know what she is talking about

As I multitask listening to the teacher and my dad's heartbeat, I suddenly hear my dad's heart speed up, I focus a bit more and focus on him and hear part of a conversation that he is having with someone

"Your country needs you," says someone before I hear my dad's voice

"I am Canadian," responds my dad

I stop paying attention to his conversation as he doesn't like it when I eavesdrop on his conversations

#AFTER SCHOOL IS OVER#

I wait for my dad to arrive but he doesn't come

Around 30 minutes pass and I get worried that something may have happened

I start to listen around to his heartbeat and I hear his heart beating fast

Incredibly fast

I listen as much as I can and hear him struggling somehow

I look around the city with my supervision and try to find out where he is

I focus more than I have before and I see my dad fighting someone with big bone claws on his fingers

I watch in shock before I run away to the safehouse that my dad told me to go to in case something happens to him

Making sure that no one sees me running

I reach it in around a minute and open the hatch to go into the bunker and climb inside

I turn the lights on and soon I focus on my dad's fight and watch as his claws are stepped on and my dad screams in pain

I scream out loud and some of the glass in the bunker breaks

"NONONONO," I shout as a feeling of desperation comes over me

I want to go over there and save him but he told me to stay here until either he picked me up himself or 96 hours pass and then I am to leave for the small island near our home where he made another safe house where I am to stay until he picks me up or stay as long as I have to as he told me to assume the worst after a week

I look around the bunker and quickly turn on the rest of the lights and get first aid in case my dad needs some

I turn everything else inside the bunker

I look towards him and see my dad getting brought into an ambulance by some paramedics and I pray to god that he comes here fine

I wait for him to come over to me for the next 2 days and check up on him every so often to see what he is doing before the third day, I prepare everything that I might need to get to the island even though I can get there in less than a minute

I get some food, water, a knife, and 3 guns

Just like he told me to get even though I don't need them

I have a hunting rifle, a shotgun, and a pistol

On the third day, during the night is when I leave the bunker to the island

I focus on my dad and see that he is really far away and I can barely see him now

I see that he is in a gym fighting a really big guy and soon he uses his claws

Except they are silver now

"Metal," I say to myself before I stop focusing on him and run to the island

I run on the water for a bit before reaching it and going inside the bunker

This one is far bigger than the other one and my dad barely finished it a few months ago

I put the stuff that I brought down and go to rest

I wake up a few hours later to the sound of my dad screaming

I focus on him and quickly see him blocking some types of beams from a pale-headed creature and he is saved by the man I saw him fighting before

I watch as my dad fights the pale creature and see how he decapitates him and I resist the urge to throw up

Soon, I watch as he falls and as he does I am already out of the bunker unable to stay away anymore

I run faster than I ever had and I hear something breaking behind me as I run toward him

I run across some trees and come to my dad trying to pounce toward someone and the person raises a gun and shoots my dad in the head, I freeze at the sight of it and the man points towards my dad again and I stop hearing my dad's heartbeat as he shoots him again

"NNNNNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOO," I scream out as I go to my dad

"Dad," I say crying

I look at his forehead which now has a hole in it and I cry before I feel something press against my head

"Come with me," the man order and I feel my eyes getting warm

I look towards him and I see him step back in surprise and he shoots at me making my head go more to the side as I stare at him and scream in anger

"AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH" I scream as red beams come out of my eyes and his entire upper body is gone

"Dad," I whisper to his body as I cry

I look at him for a bit before I hear someone coming over

"Kid, who are..." begins the man before he stops

"I am a friend of his," He says

"Your dad mentioned you he says that you have a bunker somewhere," he says and I nod and the man goes around

"Call me, Remy," He says as I turn to look at him and he nods to my dad's body

I cry a bit more before he pulls me in for a hug and I hear him say something

"Dammit,"He says sounding resigned

I cry at the loss of my father

I wake up with sweat around my body and I listen to my dad's heartbeat and check on him still asleep

"What was that?"
