Harold looked surprised to see Douglas rushing his way in his battle gears.
"What do you think you are doing?" Harold crossed his hand over his chest, cocking his brow at Douglas.
"The same thing you are intended to do. Fight for my pack!"
Harold narrowed his eyes at him. "You don't think that I have any selfish motives in this?"
Douglas matched his gaze and said with all seriousness. "I don't care if there is any as long as you don't betray my pack for your selfish reasons."
The left corner of Harold's mouth stretched in fractions. "You do realise that you have chosen the opposite side of your lady love!"
Douglas's jaw ticked in irritation. "I have chosen the side of Moon Goddess's wish!"
Now Harold's lip stretched into a full-grown smile. Their conversation stopped there when Augustus came to meet them.
He gave Douglas an approving nod. "Douglas, I think you should go and help Eloise with the injured soldiers. I and Harold would head towards the Eastern margin.
