Lilith had been in a deep, dreamless slumber for eight hours, her body and mind succumbing to the heavy weight of exhaustion.
She slept as soundly as a log, her restorative breath echoing through the stillness of the night like a rhythmic lullaby.
Dracula materialised inside the apartment of Lilith as he stared at her physique while smiling.
"She must have spent many nights lying awake in my absence," Dracula surmised.
Slowly, Dracula closed the distance between himself and Lilith as he stretched his hands to place some strands of hair behind Lilith's ear.
"I am such a lucky man," Dracula uttered, praising himself for being lucky to have such a rare damsel.
He took off his shoe before lying above the bed as he wrapped his hands around Lilith's waist.
"Mmm…" Lilith mumbled in her sleep as she snuggled closer to Dracula.
She felt safe in his arms.
Dracula smirked, closing his eyes as he also decided to rest for a bit.
