Chapter I
(The comment at, "WATCH DESIGN" is where the Omnitrix design is, i wanted something different from the other watches so I made my own thing.)
The day started slow, every class felt like five hours which was five times more than usually time. Homeroom class was a significant part of the daily cycle, it would always be at the end of the day rather than the beginning, homeroom class was meant for the children, so they could wine down and relax.
"True. And now since were in the final minutes of the day, everyone remember about the school field trip that will occur next month. The trip is to celebrate, our grade for being accepted for the NeRd Olympics."
Everyone in the class cheered, everyone besides a boy who had his head planted on his desk readying himself to drift off to sleep. This boy was none other than Cameron.
Editor's Note - So I'm writing this like 60 chapters so the writing style with these character descriptions are different. I say these because all the descriptions will be the same.
Cameron, a 13-year-old boy, may not be the tallest, but he has captivating features. His light brown (Black) skin tone is complemented by his stylishly cropped undercut, and Cameron's warm brown eyes are full of both curiosity and depth.
"I'm actually very proud of you guys for being able to do complete such a unbelievable task, a task not even your higher ups could achieve, you all should be proud!"
"Mam, I've been proud of myself." The clown of the class joked, the rest of the class laughed at her unamusing joke.
Madeline, better known as Maddie, is a 13-year-old girl. Her light-toned skin is smooth and unblemished, and her eye-catching side ponytail adds a youthful flair to her appearance. But it's Maddie's sky blue eyes that truly capture one's attention.
"No, Maddie I mean we should be proud of Jed for being able to achieve something that you yourself could not achieve. This type of achievement can improve your moral stand in a year, that's when you seven graders enter highschool you know."
"We know."
"Well Maddie did you know, in two years time you will all be in the tenth grade and by then you should have already chosen what you want to be."
"I wanna be a cop."
"That's cute, but I never asked. Cameron what do you want to be when your older?"
Cameron's head sprung up from the desk receiving a tad bit of laughter. "Huh? Number three."
The class burst out into laugher and the homeroom teacher shaked her head. "This isn't math, I asked what do you want to be when your older?"
"I don't know." Cameron planted his chin down, "What do you want to be?"
Somewhere
A claw stretched forward trying to grab a sphere, but the sphere even though not being alive proved resilient and moved out of the claws grasp changing its trajectory to a blue and green planet. The claw retracted back to what was revealed to be a drone, the drone shot three lasers at the sphere, but they all missed. The drone charged up to fire one more laser when it got shot from behind.
The drone started malfunctioning and to add icing onto the issue, it crashed into a satellite generating a strong explosion that rocketed the drone and the sphere down into the planets atmosphere undetected. From behind the drone, the shooter pressed a button that covered it's entire face in a blue coat as it as well entered the atmosphere.
Tracking back to where the entire fiasco started, a red light shined through a black hole and six pods were shot out from the hole.
➜Lenardo Residential
Cameron sat in his room staring up at the ceiling. He was grounded for the week, even though that was the case he still wore casual clothes rather than his pajamas, he wore a normal blue jean, with white sneakers and a black shirt.
He continued staring up at the ceiling until a rock was thrown at his window. He jumped off his bed and ran to the door, he peaked to see if his parents were asleep and they were. He turned off the TV in his room and placed a bunch of pillows under his blanket to create a makeshift Cameron.
Cameron took a step back and looked at the fake version of himself, trying to see if it really looked like him. He moved forward and fixed a couple of points before turning off the light and lifting the window open.
"My parents might still be awake. So please speak softly alright."
A group of four boys raised a thumbs up and huddled together. Cameron jumped out from his window and they all caught him.
"So were going to the abandoned park right?" Cameron asked the obvious question.
"Yeah. It sucks that those stupid government people closed down the park so they could build some factory that they promised will change the town, but instead they messed up." Style a boy with black hair with a blue T-shirt on was the first to speak.
Style is a tall, confident 13-year-old boy with an effortless cool. His deep brown skin is accentuated by his short, cropped hair that is proudly adorned with an intricate design shaved into the side.
"That entire park is now filled with like toxic shit." Addie a boy wearing a white vest and a bomber jacket said.
Addie is a 13-year-old boy with a slight frame and a gentle personality. His short, brown hair frames his heart-shaped face, highlighting his big brown eyes that shine with warmth and kindness.
"The most nuclear area in our town. Those government bastards are gonna pay for what they did someday." Jed spoke.
Jed is a 13-year-old boy with a more reserved demeanor and a studious look. His short, dark hair is always neatly combed, and his piercing green eyes are keenly observant.
Trent is a 13-year-old boy with a lean frame and a rugged appearance. His sun-kissed skin, messy grey hair, and mischievous blue eyes reflect his fun-loving personality.
"Let's try to calm down on that. Right now let's focus on the task in hand and that is checking out what the hell they were trying to hide from us." Cameron said.
"I bet it's some superhero thing." Trent a boy wearing a orange shirt with a white vest underneath interjected.
"Don't think that ahead buddy." Addie said, "It might be some normal gross sewage plant."
The five boys stopped in front of the do not enter sign. The boys shared glances before jumping over the chains used to hold the sign up.
The boys continued walking through the park entrance waiting for the factory to come into view. The many signs placed around the forest saying stuff like, "Why are you here?" Frightened the boys a bit.
Even though they were a tad bit frightened they still wouldn't turn back, they all wanted to see the factory. They all wanted to see how the factory that ruined the park looked.
Fear was just a word too them at this point, they've been walking for so long that the signs placed around the forest didn't faze them as much. For every ten notice they saw, Trent would tear it off the tree and make a jet and throw it at Jed since his name closely resembles the machine.
"I think it's time to turn back." Jed said looking back. "We've been walking for miles now, let's just mark this spot and comeback tomorrow."
"Your not serious." Cameron stopped. "We have so much time left, let's find this thing and then go home."
"We don't have time." Style interfered in the conversation, "We have like about 2hrs before we have to wake up and go to school."
"So much time."
"It took an hour to get here, and we've been searching for who knows how long, we don't have time anymore." Trent calculated.
"Come on guys."
"Cameron, we need to get home all of us. I have a reputation to up hold at the school and if my parents caught me coming late at home, I'll be killed." Jed spoke his concerns.
"You guys are trippin'"
The four boys all shared glances before looking back at Cameron. Cameron could see in their eyes they all shared the same opinion and that opinion disagreed with his.
Before Cameron could open his mouth to say what he thought about this a huge explosion struck, blowing everyone's clothing to the back with the wind. Cameron turned to the explosion sight and watched as smoke emerged from the area.
The boys all turned to Cameron who took a step forward. "Cam no." Jed warned.
Cameron turned to the blonde boy and smirked before rushing forward to the explosion. Trent wanted to follow, but Jed placed his arm out to stop him. "Leave him. Make sure you have a valid excuse for Cameron just in case he doesn't make it home in time okay?"
"Gotcha."
Cameron ran down the forest following the smoke patterns, the smoke was in fused with some of the toxic waste that surrounded the area which created an awful smell that could be identified at anytime.
The leafs on almost every tree in the area was blown off and the green grass was now brownish and dirty.
If the factory didn't ruin the park, the explosion sure did. Cameron covered his nose and mouth with his arm trying not to suck in the awful smell, which proved difficult since he could still smell bits of it entering pass his arm.
Cameron entered through the clearing he saw, and now stood in front of a huge crater that destroyed almost everything. The dark skinned boy knelt down and crawled forward peaking down into the crater.
Residing in the crater was the drone from before, the drone blasted the pieces of rubble on top of it off. Cameron's eyes widened when he saw the drone emerge from the rubble, the drone started shooting all the rubble around it until it spotted a sharp shine.
The drone stretched forward it's claw grabbing the sphere it had been chasing for so many hours and pulling it back to itself. The drone floated up and started moving forward escaping the crater. Cameron was shocked at what was happening, he had never seen anything like this in his life.
The drone turned to the left then to the right and started glowing red, the right was where Cameron was located and he knew what the drone was planning on doing. A red beam released from the drones eye, coursing Cameron to jump out of harms way, the red beam instead of the boy hit a tree and the tree blew up.
"What the hell? What the hell are you?"
"Enemy! Enemy!"
"Enemy? No! No! I'm not an enemy, I'm a partner."
The robot fired off another beam and this one was weaker than the shot from before since it only smoked the grass instead of blowing it up.
The drone shot off another beam and Cameron blocked it with a log that blew up after impacting with the beam. Cameron picked up another log and waited for the drone.
The drone fired a larger red beam and that was when Cameron acted and threw the log at the drone, the beam came into contact with the second log and a mid huge explosion occurred in the middle of the two, blowing them both back in the process. The sphere escaped the grasps of the drone and was blown to the right side near Cameron who was laying besides a tree.
The drone started glitching out due to the damages taken now and before. Cameron used his arms to lift himself up to his knees, he closed his eyes trying to fight the pain he endured from the explosion. The sphere that was blown to the right rolled down and bumped into Cameron's wrist.
Cameron opened his eyes and turned to the sphere that was now open.
A green light flashed from inside the sphere coursing him too move his head closer in curiosity and that's when something jumped out at him, the dark skinned boy reacted fast and covered his face with his right arm.
When doing that he felt a strong grip around the wrist of his right arm, a strong pain that after a couple of seconds disappeared. Cameron looked up and was met with the image of the drone readying another laser beam.
But before it could fire it got smacked by the back with a metal pole. A man jumped out from the forest and punched the drone in the face. The drone started going berserk and fired a beam every where. The man grabbed the dark skinned boy and dragged him behind a tree.
The man ran out from the tree and grabbed the metal pole he threw, and swung it at the drone, the drone fired many beams, but they were all off target. As a result of this, the drone was once again smacked by the pole.
The drone started going haywire and again fired off stray beams. The man gripped his pole ready to strike again, when the drone flew off. The man dropped the pole and turned to the open sphere and growled.
"You okay kid?" The man voiced his concern.
Cameron stood up and walked out from his hiding spot holding his wrist which had the device in the sphere attached to it, "Yes and no."
