chapter 40 : the elf kingdom

as they pass by the wood, stella and theresa talk about a lot thing to pass the time, they talk about their home, as well as their beloved one.

"are you sure you don't want to sleep with me in the tend, ?" ask theresa to stella.

"nah, i'm ok, you can go ahead, i already use to sleep in here," say stella as theresa nod, if one thing theresa knew about stella in this past few days, is the fact that stella was a stubborn girl, once she make a decision than no matter what eveyone do to stop her, she will still do it.

while theresa asleep on the tend, stella decide to sleep on the top of the tree, but before she manage to close her eye, she hear a cry from the tend, as stella open the tend, she look at the crying theresa who at that time was mumbling out of fear.

'maybe because of the torture she got from them, that make her got this nightmare,' though stella who remember a few weeks ago where she saw the girl for the first time.

her body was full of scar and blood, her face was lifeless, her clothes was torn apart, with a shackle on her neck, she was lucky that time she meet stella or she won't be able to survive on her own, infact it took stella about a few days until theresa willing to talk to her, and has her wound heal as well.

at that time stella decide to lay down beside theresa while stroking her hair gently while whispering something in her ear, "is over... you done well, now rest alright, i won't let anything happen to you," say stella as slowly theresa fall asleep, while stella itself decide to close her eye and sleep with the elf girl for the night.

in the morning theresa awake and the first thing she was a beautiful brown hair girl with fox ear asleep beside her, even she can't help but to admire stella beauty for a second before turning away and slap her cheeks to wake her up.

"good morning, do you sleep well, ?" ask stella who was awake as she rub her eye.

"yes, i got a good sleep last night," say theresa as they continue their journey toward the forest as they eventually arrive at her destination.

"stat your name," ask the guard who stop stella and theresa in front of the gates.

"theresa heartleaf," say theresa to the guard who look at the girl in front of them, of course the guard know that before quickly allow the two of them to enter the kingdom of elf and quickly walk toward the castle.

at that time there was 2 people who quickly run toward them which is a woman and a man with a silver hair and hug theresa who was shock at first but return the hug whe crying in their arm.

"Theresa, is that you honey, we miss you so much," say man who stroking theresa hair while the woman was crying so hard that she unable to say any word.

Stella herself was smiling inside her mask watching the warm of this family, it made her remember her own.

'I wonder how they are doing right now,' though stella about her family in the arbento estate.

For 7 year stella never went back to the naval kingdom, but once a month she write a letter to eveyone to notify that she is fine and well, though the only problem is she never got a feedback since she doesn't has any adress.

After the warm hug that theresa receive the family invite stella to the castle where at that time stella was given the utmost respect by everyone upon her doing for saving their princess that was capture by the demon army for 7 years.

"I would like to thank you properly for rescue and deliver my daughter to our home," say the man who bow his to stella which ask the man to lift his head.

"I'm sorry always for the late introduction, my name is albert heartleaf, while this is my wife elysia heartleaf," say albert to stella who introduce his wife.

"I'm sorry that i can't introduce myself but you can call me lady fox," say stella who use her identity as lady fox while wearing her fox mask.

"Lady fox, you mean the famous lady fox who single handedly fought the army of demon alone, ?" Ask the old man who was entering the room.

"Yes, that was me," say stella to them who look at stella in shock.

"I see, thank you for saving my granddaughter, my name robert heartleaf," say the old man to stella who nod.

"May i ask, how long will you stay in this kingdom, ?" Ask robert to lady fox.

"I came to to deliver the princess, after that i'm going to leave," say lady fox to them.

"Please at the very least stay for the night, we will going to have a party to celebrate the return of the princess," say king albert to stella.

"Alright, i stay," say lady fox as she doesn't want to be rude to the royal family of the elf kingdom, as they already politely ask for her attendance.

While waiting, theresa father ask the maid to show stella arounf the kingdom, at that time they decide to look at the training ground.

"Hm, who are they, ?" Ask lady fox who pointed to the elf who was sparring.

"They are our elite throops miss lady fox, after king robert retire and give his position to his son, king albert, he decide to become the instructur and train the knight here," say the maid to lady fox who nod before the old man look at their way and coming toward them.

"So you have comeback, how is the tour, ?" Ask the old man to stella.

"The town was interesting if i have to say, while the kingdom itself was beautiful," say lady fox who compliment the elf kingdom.

"I see, is a good thing you like it," say the old man who was forming a smile on his face as he suddenly swing his sword to stella who casually stop the old man swing with only her barehand.

"What the meaning is this, ?" Ask stella to the old man robert who smile never left his face.

"You strong as the rumour, no, maybe even better that what i heard," say the old man robert who then take a step back before pointed his sword toward stella.

"It will be a waste if we don't spar, what do you think, ?" Say the old man who pointed his sword to lady fox.
