As Claire, Adriana, and Mia drove back into the city, the weight of the new information pressed down on them. Vincent had given them a name—Mercer—but no clear path to reach him. The enemy they faced was more elusive and powerful than they had ever imagined.
"What's our next move?" Adriana asked, breaking the silence as the city lights began to come into view.
"We dig into everything we have," Claire replied, her voice steady despite the turmoil inside her. "We trace those offshore accounts, we look into every connection Mike had, and we find out who Mercer really is. He's the key to everything."
Mia, who had been silent since they left the warehouse, finally spoke up. "Mercer won't go down easily. If he suspects we're onto him, he'll disappear. And if that happens, we'll never find him."
