Chapter 103

"Clark, I think my issue is a bit bigger." Leonardo said. "My crisis threatens to sink most of America, Canada and Mexico to the bottom of the ocean."

"Do you need help?" Clark asked in great concern. "Raya may be able to help you."

"Nah, I think I got it." Leonardo replied. "I got a bunch of time travelers here and if it is what I think it is. I don't really want you guys going near it."

Despite saying he got it, he didn't feel like it. The feeling of Superman Return was strong with this scene. Since he felt the green glow he saw in the rocks wasn't green neon paint. So hanging up the phone before Clark can say something. His attention was shifted to the trio.

"No, you can't go." Imra replied.

"Yeah, that stuff can and will kill you." Garth replied.

"Kal nearly died when he lifted an island the size of it in the future." Rokk added. "It's nearly double the size of that one recorded. Not to mention you are younger than he was when he did it."

"We now know where your time traveling criminal is." Leonardo said as he prepared to fly off. "You guys take care of the time traveler and return to your own time. I will go deal with the landmass."

"You can't go, you will die." Imra stated once more.

"I will be fine as I told Clark. Now let's go since we have no time to debate here." Leonardo stated before pulling off his glasses and taking off.

"He is so reckless." Garth replied. "I always remember him being quite wise and having well thought out plans."

"He is much younger now compared to the future. Besides, we just have to believe in him and do our part." Rokk answered solemnly.

"That land mass is full of Kryptonite." Imra pointed out, worried. "Just a fist size chunk can bring him down, I can't imagine a land mass that big going to do to him."

The three looked silent between themselves before they too took to the sky flying towards the growing landmass. For even if they don't like it, they have a job to do and delaying will only bring more danger to the world. Since after all they shouldn't be spending too much time in the past.

"Help!"

In the desperation of falling, a man shouted as he watched as the windows he washed rapidly passed him. Below the ground rapidly approached him and fear of dying took hold. For he worried about his wife, his children and his parents who would help them after he was gone.

"Don't worry, you will be fine." a calm voice said.

Then the man noticed that a man appeared next to him and caught him four floors up. Right before he was quickly lowered to the ground and the man continued flying off. Where all he saw was a blur moving through the streets rapidly. The flaming sewer soon disappeared as large bursts of air busted out.

"Who is that?" The man muttered to himself.

Besides knowing it was a man, he could barely remember the inhumane blue eyes. Before he was shoved and broke out of his trance as he ran for cover. However, if he can ever find the man who saved him, he would like to thank him for saving his life.

Taking care of the most imminent crisis, Leonardo continued to rush forward. Where off the coast, he saw the large landmass growing more than what's shown. Since it seems to be growing faster than even he predicted.

'Is it not so much a xenophobic terrorist, but a mad man who wants to cause an untold number of deaths?' Leonardo thought as he focused on his task.

Searching the ocean floor as he looked for the point that began to grow from. Leonardo, who flew over the ocean, soon saw where he needed to go and shot downwards. Tunneling underground, he soon reached where he needed to. Only he also felt the Kryptonite also as he felt his bone creaking and blood boil as it began to affect him.

'This sucks.' Leonardo thought to himself. 'Time traveling should be banned for everyone.'

Then, he began to rise, his muscles strained and his heart seemed to beat faster. Yet, Leonardo continued to rise as the weight increased rapidly as strengths seemed to be leaving him. Slowly as pain continued to grow and rack throughout his body, he continued to push himself as he slowly raised out of the water with a giant growing landmass of kryptonite on his shoulders.

"This is insane." Garth mumbled at the sight.

Seeing the landmass that was slowly rising out of the ocean. It was incredible as he never saw anything like it before. For it showed barely a fraction of power that Leonardo and Clark held.

"This isn't time to be shocked. We have to hurry." Rokk said. "We can't let Landmaster escape again."

"What about Seyg?" Garth said worriedly.

"Just believe in him." Imra stated.

The trio weren't the only ones shocked, all the cities and people able to see the coast were shocked, amazed and frightened. For they saw this giant and growing landmass continue to expand, but seems to be floating higher and higher into the sky.

"Is the world ending." Many who were watching thought.

To add to the horror, the sky suddenly went dark as an eclipse suddenly appeared. Only as the chaos from the earthquake began to subside. Then almost as quick as it came, the eclipse left and the island flew into the sky.

'Almost there, just a bit further.' Leonardo thought.

A weakness even worse than when he got his body overcame him, but Leonardo still pushed himself. The clouds fading away as he passed through them. However, Leonardo suddenly felt intense pain as a large crystal made of pure Kryptonite began to barrow into his back.

"Ahh!" Leonardo let out a small shout of pain.

However, as his veins turned green and each breath he took felt like lava entering his body. Leonardo didn't dare lose focus as he needed to finish moving this growing landmass. Otherwise, untold damages would happen to the planet. Something he couldn't allow to happen since he told those time travelers and Clark he will be fine. Then, he felt weightless come over him, as he watched the land of kryptonite float off.

Only, as the crystal kryptonite left his body, Leonardo held the hole in his stomach. Then under the pull of gravity or maybe it is his own ability. He began to fall backwards towards Earth as his consciousness began to waver.

"He did it. He has actually done it." Garth cheered.

As they watch a black dot fall from the sky, their grins faded. For the dot was going faster and not slowing down.

"He is not slowing down." Garth began to panic.

"Maybe he will be fine." Rokk said, but he couldn't even convince himself with those words..

Then as if to prove him wrong, they watched as a dust cloud began to rise from the crash site and a shock wave spread out. So upon sending back the time traveling Landmaster. They rushed over to discover an unconscious Leonardo.
