So far, she believed he seemed to be doing much better than earlier. Thankfully, he had safely landed the plane in a small strip in what appeared to be an isolated private place.
"I don't own this resort, but a friend loaned it to me for the night." He quickly answered her an unspoken question as if he could read her thoughts.
Then, he escorted her to a waiting vehicle that would drive them, hopefully, to their final destination. She still had no clue of his plans, so all she could do was speculate.
And wait.
"I hope it is not a long drive," Jules said as she entered the back seat. And thankfully, they only rode for a few minutes. Then, she saw the wide arch welcoming them to the secret place.
In her opinion, it seemed they had entered a place away from civilization, hardly seeing any other structures and people around them.
