Derek turned deaf to her words and tightened his grip on the steering wheel, driving on.
He was not in the mood to respond to any of her inquiries, but as soon as she brought up the subject, he abruptly applied the brake, causing the vehicle to veer off the road.
"Remember that we have no relationship with one another. Then why is that you are forcing me?!"
Derek gritted his teeth and gave Regina a menacing glare.
"I remember everything I said, but that doesn't mean I can entirely forget about us," he snapped.
Derek was making an effort to move on from her, but if she continued to cross his path, it would be difficult for him to accept his emotions.
It was not a passing romance or something that occurred a short while ago. He had been in love with her for the past five years, and it was difficult to let go of someone to whom you dedicated your life.
