The final buzzer rings, and the score isn't even close. The score is 116-61, and I've had another monster game. Goes to show that you don't mess with my girlfriend or me. Speaking of girlfriend, she's running to me and leaps right into my arms. She wraps her legs around my torso and locks lips with me. Her being here made the game worth trying to win.
Franklin's team exits the court floor without even giving a show of good sportsmanship. I'd be pretty salty if I had someone drop 60 points, 19 rebounds, 11 assists, 5 steals, and 12 blocks on me. Lacking any turnovers whatsoever. "You were breathtaking... I've never seen you play like that in person before..." I didn't miss a single shot and got my 60 points under 25 shots.
My high efficiency allowed freedom for the rest of my teammates. The home crowd stayed to the bitter end to show support for their team, and I can respect that, even after getting blown out by nearly 60 points on the scoreboard. Before I can respond to Hannah, I feel a tap on my shoulder, and it's a reporter for ESPN. I didn't see him in the crowd.
He's probably hoping for an interview, and before I can turn him down. Hannah lets go and smiles as she backs away and towards her stuff on the bleachers. My attention shifts to the reporter, and I can see that more has gathered. Some are from other stations like SportsCenter and private news companies. This is going to be annoying...

My smile fades as I watch Ulysses be bombarded with questions, and I'm growing frustrated. Not at Ulysses, just upset that I have to share him with the media after he plays a great basketball game. His performance tonight should go down in basketball history, and I'm glad I showed up tonight cause if I didn't, then he wouldn't have played this good.
It gives me butterflies knowing that I have this effect on him... Knowing that being here makes him want to put on a good show for me... The way he was motivated after I was talked to that way... It makes me feel like floating away... We haven't rushed our relationship, and we've been taking our time. I can't help wondering when we're going to go all the way...
I'm not in a rush, mainly due to fear about the ability to fit him... I'm a virgin, and Ulysses is packing a cannon. I've felt it on accident a couple of times. That's just when he's soft too... I think the reason he hasn't rushed it is that he's afraid of the same thing I am. I could get hurt by something that big. I'm glad it doesn't inflate his ego.
My clouded and muddled thoughts are interrupted by the sight of a little girl approaching Ulysses. She can't be more than 11 years old. She tugs on his shorts, and his attention immediately falls on her. My heart throbs and melts as I see the bright smile appear on his face. He squats down and starts to talk to the little girl.
Having complete disregard for the reporters, and while I can't hear them. I can read their lips. She's asking if she could have his autograph. Before he can answer, the little girl's parents catch up to her and give him an embarrassed look. She must've gotten away from them. Ulysses does nothing but smile, and he gives the little girl what she wants but does her one better.
Ulysses takes off his game shoes, and Coach Rodgers quickly runs up and hands him a permanent marker. He gives both his shoes his signature and even asks for her name to direct the autograph to her. After signing the shoes, he turns to the parents and offers a picture with the girl. He lifts her and puts her on his shoulders.
Her smile is like a million watts, and she hangs onto both the shoes while they take the picture. The parents are nearly crying, and they take off with their daughter after saying their thanks. He turns back to the reporters, and his expression becomes slightly annoyed again. It's cute how fast his attitude changes when he's dealing with the press.
