I Hate The Word Sorry

Michael's P. O. V

I was standing by the window of my room when I saw her standing by the gate. She wore a short black skirt which revealed her long legs and a shirt that shows her cleavage. She looked very beautiful. In the car she questioned me but I didn't reply. I tried to keep my distance because it was hard for me not to admire her legs. I don't even understand what kind of feeling I am having. I just met her yesterday and I can't stop thinking about her. I don't want her far from me and neither close to me. Whenever she walked in to my office, I tried not to look at her because I couldn't stop imagining her breasts and body. It was nine o'clock pm when she walked in my office to tell me she wanted to go home. I nodded my head slightly nodded my head and she left. This is so much unlike me. She might think that I am arrogant and mean. I watched her leave the company in a car. I told myself that it might be her boyfriend who came to pick her up.

I was so tired that I went home.

BRIANNA'S P. O. V

Antonella: girlfriend how was your first day?

Brianna: I worked on documents and files the whole day. I didn't have time to eat

Antonella: what? Why? You should have just taken permission from you boss

Brianna: you think I didn't? I did but my boss is really arrogant whenever I talk to him, he doesn't answer me. It's like u don't even exist

Antonella laughs and says: really? By the way who is your direct boss?

Brianna frowns and says: My boss is Mr Michael Anthony Craine.

Antonella: oh my goodness you mean you are working with the biggest billionaire in the country?

Brianna: what is the big deal about it? He is beautiful but he is an arrogant and mean man. He doesn't even reply me when I talk to him.

Antonella: oh girlfriend forget about that. You should concentrate on raising money for your studies.

Brianna: alright you are right.

Antonella dropped me home and I went to bed after eating dinner.

The next day, I got to the office a bit late.

I knocked on Mr Craine's office door.

I heard his deep manly voice telling me to enter.

I nervously entered. He was standing by the window.

" Good morning sir " I greeted.

He didn't respond and neither did he turn to even look at me. I walked out and went to my office. I saw a lot of files on my table. There was a message attached to it.

" Please work on these files as soon as possible Michael Anthony Craine" it read

This man is just too much.

It took me three hours for me to finish. I went to his office to deliver the files. I knocked but no one responded. I opened it slightly and peeped inside I didn't see Mr beautiful arrogant so I sneaked in and placed files on his table and we back to my office. I read my email and that was when I realised that I was suppose to attend a meeting in the conference room. The worst is that I am an hour late. I quickly rushed there. I opened the door and everyone looked at me.

" Sorry for being late " I walked in and stood beside the boss.

" Alright everyone this meeting is over " The boss said.

" Miss Bennett please see me in my office" Mr Michael Craine said.

He quickly left the conference room and I run behind him. We got inside his office and I followed.

" Mr Craine I am so sorry for being late", I said

" Miss Bennett the location of the meeting was in the premises so young lady tell me how on earth is it possible that you were late" he said

" Sir please I saw the email late" I said

" Miss Bennett a normal human being checks their email as soon as they wake up in the morning or as soon they enter their offices" he argued. I realised that he was angry.

" Sir I worked on the files that was on my table as soon as I entered my office. I'm sorry I didn't check my email and I am sorry for attending the meeting late" I said

" Miss Bennett I hate people who are find of saying sorry. So please avoid saying this word and don't ever commit mistakes. My son told me to give you a chance that is why you are still here don't give me a reason to sack you. Now get out" he said arrogantly

" S-s-sir" I tried talking

" I said get out" he shouts

I walked out with tears in my eyes. I have never been shouted and scolded like this before.

I went back to my office. I cried for a while. I didn't see him for the rest of the day. I worked for a while. I was able to close early.

The next day, I didn't see him but there were work for me to do. I went to the canteen and heard that the boss has travelled.

" How can he travelled without me knowing" I said to myself.

I went to Mr Andrew Craine's office. I knocked and he responded

" Hello Mr Craine" I greeted

" Hello Miss Bennett" he responded

" Sir please is it true that your father has gone on a trip" I asked

" Yes Miss Bennett" he responded

" Why didn't he tell me. I know I was wrong for attending the meeting late the other day. I apologized and he scolded me. I don't understand why is he still mad at me" I poured out my heart to him

"Miss Bennett please relax. My father is out of the country on a personal trip not a business trip" he said

"Thanks for the information Mr Craine" I said and left the office.

" Wow I didn't know Mr beautiful arrogant Craine has a personal life. Now I am wondering who the woman in his life is.

For the next days, I was a bit free a went to work a bit late and closed early.
