Promises That Can't Be Kept

Receiving a blood transfusion from William, Amanda slowly passed her critical period and began to improve with time. Right at midnight, she was transferred to an inpatient room at the hospital.

William said that he would wait for Amanda there, while Nick and the others could go home to rest and keep Lucas company.

"You can stay at my house, you must be tired. So it's better to rest. Let me look after Amanda," William said.

"Are you sure? You don't need mom or dad with you?"

"No, I can take care of Amanda by myself. You guys can go home and please tell Amanda's family that our child is born but don't tell them about her current situation."

They nodded in understanding and took Lucas home.

However, as they were about to leave, Stella decided to stay there with William. She went to the cafeteria to buy some food as she knew William hadn't eaten anything.

Inside the room, William sat on the chair next to Amanda's bed while holding her hand.
